Bank Customer Retention Analysis Report

The document analyzes customer data from a foreign bank using Tableau to identify patterns in why customers are leaving. It finds that a higher percentage of female customers are leaving compared to males, and the most customers left the bank in Germany compared to France or Spain. Having a credit card or not does not significantly impact likelihood of leaving. Active bank members are less likely to leave than non-active members. Customers with 1 or 4 bank products are more likely to leave than those with 2 products.

IBA CIA (DATA

VISUALIZATION)

The dataset is of a foreign bank and it actually shows that how many people
are leaving that bank and transmitting to other banks . So we will be using
tableau as visualization and will be answering our case study .
1.) If we taking everything as equal and taking male customer and female
customer , which one of them is more likely to leave the bank as
comparing on the basis of gender ?
As the visualization is done by Tableau so it states that there are
more percentage of females leaving the bank as compared to the
males .So we should find out the reason for why the females are
leaving the bank maybe the services for the females are not as good
as for the males or the females are not comfortable with their bank.

2.) In which country most people left the bank out of all three- Germany,
France or Spain ?
The graph in the above image shows that in France only 16% of the
entire people are leaving and in Germany 32% people are leaving and in
Spain, 17% people are leaving .As we have added a reference line which
states that people leaving below the reference line are normal but
people leaving above the line is to be figured out as in Germany, so
many people are leaving which states that there might be a competitor
in Germany .The services quality should be increased in Germany
especially.

3.) Now we will visualize the data and check if the person has credit card ,
then what is the possibility of his leaving and if he doesn’t have then if
he is leaving or not ?
If the person does not have credit card are 1% more leaving the bank as
compared to the person not having credit card . So according to me ,
having credit card or not having credit card does not affect our situation,
it’s better to work on other variables .

4.) What if the person is active member , is he leaving the bank or the non
active member leaving the bank ?
After doing the visualization for the same , the above graph shows that person
being the active member does not leave the bank as compared to the the non
active members as the non active members are 27% who left the bank and the
active members are 14% who left the bank .

5.) The bank can provide the different types of products such as savings
account, dematerialization account etc. so now through visualization we
are going to check that how many people left the bank with 1 product
etc. and if the person has brought maximum 4 number of products then
what happens ?

The above graph shows that if the person has bought 1 number of
product then more people are leaving as compared to the people who
had enrolled for 2 number of products and the people who bought every
4 number of products they are more likely to leave and my suggestion is
that there should be some offers and schemes for the people who are
buying 2 number of products because the bank may not be able to
handle properly the customers with 4 number of products.
