Rockabilly Scene at The Dominion

The Dominion pub in Toronto's east end has become a hub for rockabilly music in the city thanks to the efforts of promoters Steve Good and David Faris. Three years ago, they began booking rockabilly acts at the pub, which has a historic feel and is not pretentious. It has since hosted weekly rockabilly matinee shows and brunches to keep audiences coming back. This Saturday, an event called East End Rockabilly Riot 9 will be held there, headlined by the band Tennessee Voodoo Coupe, along with other acts that draw from subgenres like psychobilly and hillbilly.
