Course Description: The purpose of this course is to acquire knowledge and develop proficiency in caring for patients with medical
and surgical disorders in varieties of health care settings and at home.
Placement : B.Sc. Nursing 3rd Year
Objectives:
At the end of the course the students will be able to: 

1. Appreciate the trends & issues in the field of Medical Surgical Nursing as a specialty. 
2. Apply concepts & theories related to health promotion. 
3. Appreciate the client as a holistic individual. 
4. Perform physical, psychosocial assessment of Medical - Surgical patients.
