B. Developmental Activity Activity 1
Present the short story below.

Ask: What kind of activity did Cansamada Elementary
School have? Who won the contest? How did the grade
two pupils win the contest? (Compare the weight of the
squash from first week up to the third week of
weighing.) What units of measuring were used?
(Using the squash presented, lead and show the pupils on
how to measure the weight of the squash using a weighing
scale. Emphasize to the pupils that 1 kilogram is equal to
1000 grams. Give other examples like tomatoes, sugar,
paper and ballpens .)

Group the pupils into four. Let each group weighs the
objects given to them.

when measuring light objects and kilograms for heavy
objects.
