2.4. Communication Port Explanation

3. Installation and Operation
3.2. Selecting Installation Position

3.5. Operation Test and Installation Instruction

3.5.1.5 Then, the UPS is on Bypass Mode now and it will proceed self-test
automatically. If there is no abnormal message occurred, it means the pre-startup
of the UPS is successful and the charger starts to charge the batteries.

batteries of the UPS are fully charged.
3.5.2.1 Make sure the UPS you have has already been installed at least 1
set(20pcs) of 12V/7AH or 12V/5AH batteries.

3.5.2.2 Push the UPS On Switch to awake the UPS for approx. 3 seconds,
and then the buzzer sounds twice. The LCD display will illustrate from drawing A
to drawing G, and keep awake for approx. 10 seconds.

the LCD display illustrates from drawing G to drawing H, then the UPS will be in
self-test Mode. The UPS may offer energy to the output in a minute, and the LCD
display illustrates as drawing I. In case of failure in pushing the UPS On Switch in
10 seconds, the UPS will automatically turn off. You then have to go through step

The R2E (2nd RS-232) card, RSE (RS-485) card, USE (USB) card, SNMP/WEB card, and Net Agent II Internal Card can be installed in either slot 1 or slot 2, except the Net Agent II Internal Card, which is specifically designated for slot 2 . Adapted flat cables for these installations include cable A or cable B . The SNMP/WEB card and the Net Agent II Internal Card require cable C .
For installing external interface cards, first remove the cover from the designated slot. Slide in the selected card, ensuring it's securely fastened using the included flat cables matching the slot's requirements. For RS232, RS-485, USB, and SNMP cards, ensure to connect corresponding cables, and for detailed configuration information, refer to chapters covering communication protocols. Special attention should be given to EPO functionality and communication protocol compliance .
The default settings include the bypass input voltage window, frequency window, inverter output voltage, operational modes, and output voltage adjustment range . These settings can be modified by scrolling down the LCD display to view each parameter, using the scroll up key pad to select new values, and saving the settings by pressing the Enter key pad . If adjustments aren't needed, pressing the OFF key pads for 5 seconds will disregard changes .
To change the UPS settings, ensure the UPS is not "On". Press the On Switch and scroll down key pads simultaneously for about 3 seconds which will sound the buzzer twice and display drawing Q1. Use the scroll down keypads to adjust settings displayed consecutively from Drawing S1 to W. Finally, press the Enter key pad to save all changes when the LCD screen shows as drawing Z. If changes aren't desired, pressing the "OFF" key pads for 5 seconds will void changes and revert to drawing AA .
To power on the UPS in battery mode (cold start), ensure the UPS has at least one set of 20 12V/7AH batteries installed. Press the On Switch for approximately 3 seconds until the buzzer sounds twice, progressing from drawing A to drawing G on the LCD. After pressing the On Switch again for about 3 seconds until the LCD transitions from drawing G to H, the UPS enters self-test mode and provides output energy after about a minute .
If the UPS locks itself due to an unknown error, indicated by drawing AA, check the error messages as detailed in the manual for troubleshooting. After troubleshooting, consult your local distributor for further assistance. To release the lock, press the Off key pad for 5 seconds to turn off the utility input breaker, resolving the lock, but it is essential to ensure the error that caused the lock is addressed .
If the UPS fails to provide adequate battery backup after 8 hours of recommended charging, contact the local distributor for potential battery replacement . Before doing so, ensure that all connections are secure and no faults are indicated by the UPS interface display .
During a self-test, the UPS undergoes a process where the buzzer sounds twice and the LCD display sequences through different drawings . A successful self-test is indicated by the transition from drawing E1, which shows 'OK', and eventually drawing F, displaying '220Vac', the utility input voltage . If the self-test fails, it moves from Drawing D to E2, with an error code appearing on-screen .
The recommended environmental conditions for installing the UPS unit include keeping at least 30cm clearance from the rear panel to the wall, ensuring airflow to the ventilation openings is not blocked, and avoiding environments with overheating, excessive moisture, dust, corrosive or salty materials, or flammable objects . The unit should also not be installed outdoors, and the relative humidity should be maintained between 30% to 90% without condensation .
For rack installation of a UPS system with multiple modules, start by installing the ear covers to the power module, isolation transformer module, and battery module. Next, install the rail kit necessary for the rack cabinet. Subsequently, install the power module and other connected modules into the rack cabinet, ensuring all components are securely fastened .
