Job Responsibilities as a Registered Nurse:-
Check inventory,crash cart and narcotic drugs.
Monitor vital signs like BP, temperature, pulse, respiration and recorded.
Provide medications and injections as prescribed by the doctor.
Administer intravenous fluids and injections to the patients .
Assist doctor during the treatment in surgical and wound dressings.
Prepare the patient for various investigations:ECHO,MRI,CT
Scan,endoscopy,bronchoscopy,
colonoscopy,angiography,PTCA etc.
Collect specimen including sputum,urine and stool.
Teach the patient about Colostomy care.
Handling emergency cases, providing complex insertion and feeding to patients.
Provide care to critically ill patients which includes CVA,acute respiratory
emergencies and head injuries.
Develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
Provide Health education to the patients regarding their medical and nutritional needs
etc.
Provide Psychological support to patient and their family members.
Participate in continuous professional development programs.
