QM 1: Display Inspection Characteristic

Exercise Display the Inspection Characteristics used in Quality Time 10 min


Management.
Task Use the Fiori Launchpad to display the Inspection Characteristics.

An inspection characteristic describes what is to be inspected, that is, the Inspection Characteristic

inspection requirements for materials, parts, and products. To simplify and


standardize inspection planning, you can define master inspection
characteristics that you can use in various task lists.

To display an inspection characteristic, use the Fiori App Display Inspection Fiori App

Characteristic.

In the Display Master Insp. Characteristic Version: Initial Screen enter


DL00
DL00 as Plant. Further, use the F4 help to choose an inspection F4
characteristic. To do so select the field Master Insp. Charac. and press F4.

In the following window Master Inspection Characteristics press enter and


PACK
search for the characteristic PACK. Select the correct entry and click on
for confirmation.

Back on the screen Display Master Insp. Characteristic Version: Initial


Screen press Enter to get further information of the characteristic PACK.

QM 2: Display Catalog

Exercise Display the catalog containing the inspection characteristics in the Time 10 min
quality management.
Task Use the Fiori Launchpad to display the Catalog.

To display an inspection characteristic, use the Fiori App Display Catalog. Fiori App

In this case, the catalog of characteristic values is shown. It shows which


values the inspection characteristic can have.

In the Display Selected Set: Initial Screen enter 1 as Catalog. Further choose 1
DL00
the Plant DL00. Make sure * is entered as the Selected set. Proceed with *
Enter.

In the Display View “Selected Sets”: Overview screen you will see the
already known characteristics.

EXERCISE

What is the status of each set?

Select the first line of a characteristic and choose Selected Set Codes.
What is the code group responsible for evaluating the inspection
characteristics?

Which results can the inspection have and what are the associated code
expression?

Click twice to return to Fiori Launchpad.
