Counter Rust 7010
Water Displacing, Non-Staining, Barium Based Rust Preventive
GENERAL Counter Rust 7010 is a Barium based Water Displacing Rust Preventive.
DESCRIPTION It is made from a selected blend of barium soaps of oxidized hydrocarbons,
barium sulfonate, esters and other proprietary components.
Counter Rust 7010 exhibits the following features and properties:
• It is non-emulsifiable, alkali resistant, water displacing rust preventive
• It is designed to be blended with solvents, kerosene or oil depending on the
type of film desired.
• Solvent and kerosene cut backs will leave a waxy, dry, protective, non-
staining, thin film for indoor and outdoor, rust protection in humid
environments
• Oil cut backs will form a softer oily film with similar properties
• It imparts excellent water displacing properties even in the presence of alkali
• It provides good boundary lubrication for forming operations
