TESTING THE COMMUNICATION PATHS:
1) Enter into Section [851] [901] and toggle 1, 2, 3, 4 ON.
• 1 is testing the IP Primary receiver
• 2 is testing the IP Secondary receiver
• 3 is testing the Cell Primary Receiver
• 4 is testing the Cell Secondary Receiver
This procedure will send a test signal to each receiver to verify the
signal path is functional. NOTE: Only test the paths programmed.
2) Verify that you are in test with the Central Station: Then send an AUX
Medical signal by pushing the middle panic key on the left hand side
of the PK55XX style keypad. Once activated, you will hear 3 beeps
on the activation of the AUX signal and 5 rapid beeps upon receiving
the kissoff (completion of the signal) from the central station.
When sending an AUX signals via phone line these sets of beeps are
separated by 30 – 40 seconds; when using the cell these beeps are
separated by 4 – 6 seconds; when using IP these beeps are
separated by 1 – 2 seconds and may sound like one long series of
beeps (yes, it is that fast!)
