As college student, how can you participate in Jesus’ Priestly mission?

 The priesthood of Jesus is indeed the most perfect one, but that does not mean that we cannot
do the same priestly mission. With the Holy Sacraments bestowed upon us, which are the
baptismal and the confirmational character we too can do the same priestly mission that Jesus
Christ did. We can do such a mission by doing it in our little ways which are to sanctify others on
behalf of the Church’s ministry. As college students. We do possess that certain authority to
sanctify who we associate with just like our teacher, fellow students, students from other
departments, and even the school staff. We are to sanctify through drawing others closer to God
by performing holy action just like what Jesus did through good deeds and loving deeds. As a
role model of bringing holiness into the campus, we then can influence others to do the same
and exercise their priestly authority and offer a prayer for ourselves and others through Jesus’
name. I am an Altar server sir for almost 8 years and I have a lot of friends join also because of
me. And I really happy that in a small things I bring few people come to God again. And I am also
a youth leader sir in the ministry and I am really happy that my youth is very inspired and willing
to serve God.

2. How can parents and spouses participate in the Priestly ministry of Jesus?

 Every individual has the power to perform its responsibility which is to exercise our priestly
authority. This does not leave only to the priests and bishops but the society in its entirety. Our
parents and spouses can perform such a mission that has been bestowed upon them through
the Holy Sacrament which is marriage. Husbands and wives are to sanctify each other and love
one another just as how Jesus loved each individual there is. Parents are to easily forgive each
other’s mistakes and flaws because that is what love is and this is how God had shown His love
towards us to forgive us from the mistakes we had committed and they are also to be patient
with one another. Parents’ priestly mission does not only limit to them but it also applies to
their children, they are to sanctify them to pray and to pray for them and others. They also have
the power to heal their children when they are ill. Overall, parents bring their children closer to
God as a family and as part of the Church. My parents always encourage us to do good and
always pray to God. We always praying the rosary every night sir because this becomes our
bonding together as a family of God.

3. As college student, how can you be a Prophet within the university that you belong?

 Being a Prophet is to proclaim both the Kingdom of God the Father and the true power of His
words- this proclamation was done by Jesus Christ Himself making Him a great Prophet. As a
college student, we spent most of our days in school and with those people in schools just like
our fellow students and teachers. So, we can perform such prophetic ministry though testifying
or proclaiming the greatness of God the Father and on the truthfulness of what is being said
within the Church, We are to testify on the beauty of the Eucharist and to remember the
sacrifices of Jesus Christ as we come full with the resurrected presence. As a student, we can
also influence other to speak of the truth and to renounce that is not the right thing to do
because that is what God wants us to be to become individuals with kind hearts. I admit sir that
telling the truth as a student is hardest part because you will see your classmates cheating and I
am also guilty of that but I cannot tell the truth because they might get mad to me. But I always
 pray to God to become a truthful son. I always tell my parents what is happening to me and
always tell them the truth even if they will scold me.

4. How can parents participate in Jesus’ Prophetic ministry?

 Parents can also do or perform Prophetic mission just as how the other missions can be
performed. They can do this by doing the primary responsibility of being a parent and that is to
love and take care of children. In light of that, they are to foster the faith of their children by
encouraging them always to pray and to speak of the truth. This is because being a prophet
means we announce, denounce and renounce. Parents are to speak of the truth for their
children to follow what virtues their parents do and to correct their children when it comes to
doing bad things, let them learn from their mistakes to become the person worthy of God’s
grace. I can say that my mother is the best example that participates in Jesus Prophetic ministry
because she always guide us in Gods will and encourages us in attending mass every day and
praying the rosary every night. Until now it becomes our bonding together which is to pray the
rosary.

5. How can we, as individuals, exercise this Prophetic ministry in our workplace?

 A workplace can also be an avenue for spreading the truthful words of God the Father. In order
for development and growth to arise from a workplace the center of their actions should be for
God. Being a prophet does not depend on the place since it can also happen in a workplace,
which is to spread the words of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Who will testify of God’s Kingdom if
no one would. So. It is through announcing the true words of God that everyone in the
workplace can be influenced. Through the kindness, each will show with each workmate and on
the knowledge being shared with others and the words of God, we can also be great prophets
like Jesus Christ is.

6. How can fathers and mothers participate in Jesus’ Kingship?

 When it comes to family life, priestly and prophetic mission are mostly exercised by our fathers
and mothers, but besides that, they also have the power to governance in the light of Jesus’
name. Through their paternal authority, they can influence their children to become followers of
Christ and to teach their children with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So they must exercise their
power-filled love and Holy Spirited for proper discipline to happen and for reciprocal obedience
of children will occur. Fathers must care for their daughters such that they are assured of his
fatherly love and so are secure under his fatherly protection. It is the parents’ responsibility to
teach their children to possess integrity and honesty and to respect others just as how we had
high respect for our parents. And they must show utterly security and protection to their family
with the authority conferred by the Holy Spirit upon them to exercise family governance. My
father is a Lay Minister and every Sunday my father will always bring us to the church. My
mother and father always exercise respect to each other. I am really glad that my father and
mother really have this strong relationship to each other and we see it as their son and daughter
we also have a great respect to them.

7. How can every individual, especially you, college students, participate in Jesus’ Kingly mission, in

making our world a more beautiful place to live?
 As individuals we responsible for assurance for the future, we are to address many concerns
that can disrupt us from becoming closer to God. We must preserve the world and foster it as
how it was created by God. As college students, we are to conquer these issues, as we graduate
soon with our chosen vocation we are to live with Jesus Christ as the center of our lives. To
always strive for the right governance that could benefit not only ourselves but also others. It is
on us, the youth, to protect our families, the church, and others from being exploited and
abused. We are to spread the words of God and serve the society governed by honor and
respect for human dignity.
