• Author’s photo and address
• Main area
• Footer area
Language Features:
• Short text element
• Phrases and active voice
• Serif font text and san serif for title

A banner is a flag that signals something.
Function:
• Signal flag (as a status or condition
at a ship)
• To advertising or naming of college
or university
• To promote a product, event, or
service.
• As an announcement so that
anyone can see
Characteristics:
• Rectangular
• They are connected by a pole

• Logo
• Value preposition
• Body copy
• Image
• Call to Action (CTA): is a text or a
button that ask the user to
interact with the banner ad,
whether it’s implied or direct.

• Use simple present
• Use simple phrases or statement

A graphic organizer represents visual
understanding that structures
information by organizing significant
elements or a notion or subject in a
pattern using labels.
Function:
• Tools for critical & creative
thinking
• Tools for organizing information

information and relationship
• Tools for depicting knowledge and
understanding

tipography.

inform a concept or to give an
overview of a topic.
• Timeline infographic: to visualize
the history of something.
• Process Infographic: to provode a
summary or overview of the steps
in a process.

visualize location-based data or
demographic data.
• Comparison Infographic: to
compare options in an biased way
or to make one option seem better.
• Hierarchical Infographic: to
arrange information from greatest
to least.
