Japan is one of the greatest countries in the world with its beautiful architecture,
contrasting culture and it’s also the spiritual home of video games, anime, and
technology. That's the main reason I want to go there. Japan is a perfect mix culture,
history and modern comfort. There are skyscrapers, modern restaurants and everything
else you can come across in the modern world. But Japan does have its own unique,
modern style and can’t be compared with any other modern country. There's a district in
Tokyo called Akihabara. It is known to be an otaku cultural center and a shopping district
for videogames, anime, manga, and computer goods. Kyoto is a very cultural city and
its famous worldwide for its temples and shrines.

Japan offers countless of beautiful Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines throughout the
country. The city of Kyoto has around 2,000 Buddhist temples and shrines within the
city limits. That number alone is impressive for just one city. Japan also provides
thousands of endless Torii gates leading you up a mountain. But also, in Osaka, Tokyo,
Mount Fuji and almost every city and town in Japan you can find temples and shrines that
are worth a visit. The ancient Japanese culture is interesting, and it has been around for
thousands of years. Even now the culture and heritage are very prominent in the country.

There are so many attractive places to visit wherever you go. If you go there in spring,
you can see the sakura or cherry blossoms. Japan is also one of the safest countries to
travel in the world. Japan puts a strong focus on crime prevention, with measurements
such as ATM’s inside buildings or banks and the fact that firearms aren’t readily
available. The public transport in Japan is very efficient. It’s easy to travel from one
destination to another in this country, plus, the trains in Japan are fast, frequent, clean and
comfortable. Japan is an amazing tourist destination as it offers many unique experiences
that you would not find in any other part of the world.

2. As a student of your respective course, why it would be beneficial for you to study
the Japanese language. What can be done for you to positively learn the said
language? Elaborate your answer.

As a student, learning the Japanese language will be beneficial to me because it will open
great opportunities to me someday. Knowing Japanese as an additional language will help me
understand their culture, traditions, and practices. Learning and understanding the Japanese
language is an introductory phase in understanding their culture better. Getting to know their
culture is a great way to expand my horizon and immerse in a different kind of experience.
