Total Hours Worked: 307.

Week of March 8-12th
This week was spring break for me and my coworkers, so I did not clock any hours.
Although I did not clock any hours, I think I am still on track with my hours because I work about
45 hours a week. Thankfully, that gives me a little room for days off and things like that.
Since I do not have anything to talk about regarding the hours I worked over this past
week, I will take the time to reflect on my overall experience as an intern for this nonprofit. I
have really enjoyed being a part of this organization and having such an amazing group of
coworkers by my side. I am very grateful that I took this internship because even though I really
enjoy it, it has helped me to realize that this is not something I would want to do for a living.
Although I really enjoy working with kids, I feel like I am better and more confident working with
adults. The pandemic might be playing a part in my lack of confidence due to all the new rules
and precautions, but either way I am happy to have been pushed towards a career track that I
am more confident in.
Moving to Nashville to pursue this internship has also helped to realize that I am not a
city person. I prefer living in the suburbs or small cities like Athens. Everything is overpriced and
working in the nonprofit sector does not help me to make enough wages to support my living
expenses. I am very thankful to have learned this now rather than taking a long term job in the
city and then realizing I don’t like it.
