Brief instructions of Scribblar is an online teaching and tutoring platform that is for online whiteboards and
how to use the tool collaboration. You make an account and from there you can create private rooms where you
can invite students to join. Educators can use the online whiteboard for notes and to teach
students. Teachers can save and share those whiteboards as well. There is also a voice and
text chat that makes it easy for teachers to communicate with their students.
Ideas for how the tool PK-Kindergarten: Scribblar would be good for teachers to communicate with their
can be used in PK-12 students parents and guardians. They could use scribbler to post information like weekly
announcements, reminders, and updates on students.
Elementary School: Scribblar would be a good way to separate students into smaller
groups so they can work together and collaborate together on an assignment or a project. It
could also be good for an activity like “centers” when students are organized into smaller
groups and do certain learning activities. For example, reading groups, etc.
Middle School: Scribblar would be good for students to be able to work together and
collaborate on group assignments and projects. It would also be good for private or small
group tutoring. Teachers can record daily lessons and post it to Scribblar where the students
have access to see the lessons and can communicate with other students and ask questions
to the teacher.
High School: Scribblar would be good for high school students to work together and
collaborate on group projects or small group work. It would also be good for small group
study sessions or small group tutoring where the small group can work with the teacher.
