Social Emotional Learning for the 21st Century.

At 10:30 AM. Professor Carmel Cefai was presenting why we should do the online learning with the
new situation. Learning is very important as he mentioned in behaving and emotionally. as well as
the SEL positive change: students
Some students have social and emotional skills (prosocial behavior), positive attitudes (academic
achievement) the last is mental health. In the last row is we see there is the conduct problem is
reduced into the down to emotional distress.
The picture describes the fourth Mental Health:
This mental health it is causing a side issue for the children such as stress, depression, and bullying.
With the new situation in COVID-19, there is increasing in bullying which is a good sight of this side.
We need to prepare our children for the tests of life rather than burdening them with a life of tests.
The formative assessment is very important to use during the lesson to evaluate student’s work. as a
student-teacher I use the formative assessment at the end of each lesson and how can they improve
their learning for the next lesson. Collaborating assessment: it is mean the pupils can assess
themselves and each other and, in this case, they can fix each other’s work.
Sara Powell, Art Therapy The importance of early intervention, emotional literacy, and art.
Focused on understanding the child’s emotions. The trauma builds and develops a good relationship
(Wallace, & Lewis, 2020). We want to serve our community to the young child to support them
positively. We can support the children with many challenges. We can observe the child’s stages
through the work.

Teaching and Reading Literacy:
At 12:00 PM on od the student present her presentation about her research; she motioned many
points of her findings as well as the online learning outcome. The next student also presents her
research project about the Effects of Leveled Reading on Second Language Learners. She mentioned
that she examined grade 3 and KG students. Furthermore, she used the instructional hierarchy. E-
books help the students to read it is an easy way to understand the reading and the student’s level.
Using more data collection tools is it support the information that the students’ collect it.
