In the recent days, our community has endured a massive, prolonged, and unprecedented weather event. Clearly, this has caused tremendous pressures on your families and livelihoods. In all my years in Texas, | cannot remember a time when temperatures were so cold for such a long period of time. CPS Energy is your community-owned utility company and our 3,000 plus employees are working diligently through these {rigid temperatures to restore power and re-stabilize the grid. | want to respectfully mention that many of CPS Energy's team members are also experiencing power outages - continuous and rotating. So they are both sympathetic and ‘empathetic to what you are experiencing. ur CEO, Paula Gold-Williams, was born and raised in San Antonio and is passionate about serving our community, as are her 8ii@8AE hardworking leadership team members. My fellow Board members and | are very supportive and believe in the work that Paula and her team are diligently executing to help re-stabilize our community and state's power grid This is not an easy situation for you to be in. | humbly ask for your continued patience and understanding. While the CPS Energy team is driving to get everything back to normal, | also respectfully ask, if possible, for you to continue conserving as much energy as possible.
