ONLINE SHOPPING:ON HOW CONVENIENT IT IS THE STUDENTS OF

EUSEBIO HIGH SCHOOL

INTRODUCTION:
Online Shopping now represent a significant proportion of businesses in many countries. For
example, in the Philippines, home based businesses represent between 50-60% of all
businesses. Such businesses are increasingly making significant use of the internet, either to
extend the reach of a more traditional form of business, or in order to develop purely online
businesses. Online buying and selling has become an important part of many people’s lives.
Students and parents rely on the internet to acquire and sell textbooks at affordable prices,
virtual stores allow people to shop from the comfort of their homes without the pressure of
a salesperson, and online marketplaces provide a new and more convenient venue for the
exchange of virtually all types of goods and services. Both businesses and customers have
embraced online sales as a cheaper and more convenient way to shop, but just like anything
associated with the Internet, there are benefits and dangers associated with shopping
online. Shopping online is just like heading out to the store. The buyer can buy all the same
things from their home computer and can sometimes even get access to better sales.
Learning the convenience of online shopping to the students would help other consumers to
let them know that there are several advantages with online buying. Because it saves a lot
of time especially those who are always busy.
In finding a product the students have to start by searching for a product. This can be done
by visiting a store’s website or, if the student is not aware of any store that has the
particular item that they’re looking for or like to compare prices between stores, they can
always search for the items with a search engine and compare the results. No more risk as
you only need an Internet connection to go on with your business, plus the fact that online
shopping is now a fad among buyers and sellers, especially for millions of Filipinos who have
access to the Internet. Young entrepreneurs have found online business as the most
effective method to start a business as this does not require one to invest so much money
to spend for their operation, such as space rental, human resources and other maintenance
expenses.
