THE PROJECT Client Luna Park

When the iconic Luna Park underwent a major redevelopment, Location Sydney Harbour, Australia

 BAKERSFIELD BUSINESS CONFERENCE

THE PROJECT Client Bakersfield Business Conference

In 2001 The Bakersfield Business Conference had outgrown Location Bakersfield USA

DUGONG’S AT MERMAID LAGOON

THE PROJECT Client Sydney Aquarium

The brief was to cover the entire floating exhibit pool with Location Darling Harbour, Sydney Australia

curved design to the main Sydney Wildlife World roof Building Type Custom design and construct
structure. The design posed unique challenges for surveying Size 560m²
and installation, with no access for cranes or equipment.
Frame Structural Aluminium
Each component of the structure had to be designed for
manual handling. To overcome these issues, we used two Fabric Shadecloth
deployment cables running the length of the structure. The Design Features Cable arch design
assembled arches were fixed to the deployment cables via Complex grid of cables
chain and pulleys then moved into position over the pool. The Customised components
final lightweight structure was fabricated in shadecloth and
is supported by a complex grid of cables and customised
components.
