 Contractors Mansell has recently completed
Phase Three of the regeneration of the Oakridge
Estate in Basingstoke.
 It was for housing providers Sentinel Housing
Association.
 Oregon Timber Frame was the structural timber
frame supplier.
 A 102-week project, this design and build
contract delivered 142 houses and flats in 5
sections and the project was valued at £13.5
million.

 This third phase of the project, built in timber
frame.
 The previous two had been steel frame

 Timber frame has achieved EcoHomes “Good”


rating and the overall regeneration has been
awarded the “Best Affordable Housing Project”
by the Housing Corporation.
 Also, the “Building for Life Gold Standard” from
CABE, the Commission for Architecture and the
Build Environment.

attracting government finance.
