Contractors Mansell has recently completed
Phase Three of the regeneration of the Oakridge
Estate in Basingstoke.
It was for housing providers Sentinel Housing
Association.
Oregon Timber Frame was the structural timber
frame supplier.
A 102-week project, this design and build
contract delivered 142 houses and flats in 5
sections and the project was valued at £13.5
million.

This third phase of the project, built in timber
frame.
The previous two had been steel frame
Timber frame has achieved EcoHomes “Good”
rating and the overall regeneration has been
awarded the “Best Affordable Housing Project”
by the Housing Corporation.
Also, the “Building for Life Gold Standard” from
CABE, the Commission for Architecture and the
Build Environment.
