STORY SO FAR VOLUME TWO
Mabase is a crazy place...even before the space lady came
and made it more insane. This dame became the bane of little
Naota's mundane life. But let's back up and take this tale from
page one.
Naota has an older brother, loved him more than anything.
His brother was a baseball player poised to play in greater fields
who broke camp one day, made haste from his hometown weird¬
ness to be a famous someone far away...
in the United States.
Naoto has an alien Haruko mucking up the works. Sent ostensibly
to rid the planet of an evil menace, who knows what she's really
here to do.
Naota has his older brother's former
squeeze, a mental destability named
Mamimi, hanging on him night and day,
afraid to go away, who may or may not be
an arsonist burning down the schoolhouses.
Naota has a father, Mon-chan, and a
father's father, Shigekuni-kun, hardly fathers
as designed 'cause fathers should give
fatherly advice. These paternal pariahs
make Naota's provincial life as intolerable
as his older brother found...but Naota
has no ticket out of town.
Naota has a classmate, her name is
Ninamori-san, a class president destined
for greatness. But her daddy's the Mabase
mayor and an inveterate player whose
sex scandal made the morn paper.
Naota has a robot named Canti
whose sole purpose might be to
protect humanity an alien blight.
