Hypothesis Testing and Performance Analysis

The document presents three null hypotheses and alternative hypotheses. The null hypotheses are that: (1) critical thinking ability does not relate to student achievement, (2) there is no difference in effects of verbal cues, rewards, and no reinforcement for children with autism, and (3) there is no difference in health effects of drinking green tea vs root beer. The alternative hypotheses are that the independent variables do relate to or have better effects on the dependent variables. Statistical tests are presented comparing performance of respondents working in patrol bases vs precincts, finding no significant difference.
