Search
• The Search Facility enables you to search for model items in all the graphical applications and list the search results in a table
• The Search facility is displayed in its simple mode, you can click More Search Tools to display the advanced mode or click Fewer Search
Tools to use Simple
• Name Contains :- Search for Elements where
• Name contains a specified string. The Search
• Function is case-sensitive.
• Element Type :- One or more Element types can
• Be entered in this field separated by a space,
• Comma or semi-colon
• EQUI PIPE, NOZZ; TEE
• Current Element :- Hierarchy Element Selection
• Reset : Reset all Search Fields

• Attribute Filter :-
• You can set one or more attribute filters for the search. The specified attributes apply to each element type listed. If there is more than
one attribute filter specified then the found elements satisfy all of the attributes filters.

• All the 6 Equipments have Area Attribute is 2 and Number Attribute is 1.Should Satisfy Both Conditions.

• Free Filter

• In the Above Example Collect all EQUI With Name match wild E130.
• Total 3 Equipments are Available in ZONE /ZONE-EQUIPMENT-AREA01
• This is the Example of Free Filter i.e. PML Expression.

• Can be choosed from one of the Database

• Explicit Volume :- Volume Can be Defined and Offset can be given for Reduction
• Or Extension of Limits.

• Search will also consider Elements Partially within volume.

• Manage Searches
• You can save the searches that have been created, and these are available in future sessions. The Application you are using determines
where and which saved searches are available to you for use.
• Save Location can be Local Settings, Global Settings, Project Settings, Roaming Settings
Collections
• The Collections window is used to group data into collections and display Search Results. You can then implement operations on all the
items in a collection in one action.
• System Collections
• Claimlist :- Claim Elements Display in Grid
• DrawList :- Drawlist Elements will Display in Grid
• Current Selection :- Elements Selected in Drawlist by user will display in Grid.
• Shared Collections:-
• User Can Create Some Collections based on Required and it will be saved in the Database.
• Shared Collections Hierarchy
• Example_Collection will be stored in Database.
