PAD MOUNT TRANSFORMER
The specifications covers general requirements for liquid immersed, pad mount,
transformers which will be installed outdoors for photovoltaic generation facility.
The site conditions are: Maximum expected ambient temperature of 50°C
(Yuma County, Arizona). Site elevation ranges from 334 to 382 feet ASL.

- 2200 KVA (65°C KNAN), Three Phase, 5.75%Z


- High Voltage Winding - 12.47 kV Delta
- Low Voltage Winding - 800/462 Volt Wye solidly grounded, 1.2 kV class
- 60 Hz
- FR3 Fluid
- High voltage winding insulation (BIL) rating of 95 kV
- Low voltage winding insulation (BIL) rating of 30 kV
- Aluminum windings
- Efficiency per DOE 2010, CFR Part 431
- 600A Primary bushing wells (6)
- 15 kV, 95 kV BIL dead break inserts (6)
- Six hole spade secondary bushings (4)
- Manual, de-energized tap changer
- External tap changer operating mechanism with visible position indicator
- Two 2 1/2% taps above and two 2 1/2 % below the normal capacity.
