Greetings!

The restrictions imposed in travel and importation of goods particularly of food products,
affected the sufficiency of food supply in various Provinces – Luzon wide due to Covid-19
pandemic. To address the scarcity in food production brought by the pandemic, the
Department of Agriculture distributed vegetable seeds/seedlings to over 2 million households
nationwide, through their respective Local Government Units.

In this light, may I request your good office for various types of vegetable seeds/seedlings to
promote urban agriculture for the realization of purpose and beneficence of the Department of
Agriculture.
