When being emptied, the urine drainage system forms a firm and closed unit with
the urine collection bag. Possible contamination of the surrounding area due to spots
of urine can thus be avoided. After emptying the urine drainage system the urine
collection bag can be closed by means of the sliding clamp and then disposed of.
Thus the whole procedure has become safe and hygienic – an important contribution
to infection prevention.
