َْخ ْتم َق ْادرَيه َكبير
ِ ِ ِ
Durood-e-Ghawthiyya درود غوثيه
ِّ ٰ ْ ْ ّٰ
ََم ْع ِ َد ِنَالج ْو ِدَوالكر ِمَوا َِل ِهَوَبا ِر ْكَوَس ِل ْم
ََّ اَللهَ َّمَصَ ِ ِّلَع ٰلىَس ِِّي ِدناَوَم ْوالناََمح َّم ٍد
O ALLAH ﷻshower your blessings upon our master Muhammad ﷺwho is the treasure of kindness and generosity and may
َ peace be upon him and his family.
Third Kalimah تیسرا کلمہ
ْ ْ َّ َّ ْ س ْبحانَهللاَو َْالح ْمدَ ّّٰلِلَوََ ٰال َِا ٰلهََ ِا َّالَهللاَوَهللاَا ْكب ْرَوالَح
َاهللَالع ِل ِّ ِيَالع ِظ ْي ِم
ِ ِ َبال َا
ِ ةوَقال َ َو لو ِ ِ ِ
Glory be to ALLAH ﷻand all praise be to ALLAH ﷻand there is none worthy of worship except ALLAH ﷻ, and ALLAH ﷻis the
Great and there is no power to keep away from sins and no ability to do good but from ALLAH ﷻwho is THE GREATEST.
ْ َ ََ ُ
Surah Alam Nashrah ُس ْو َرة ال ْم نش َر ْح
ْ ْ ْ َّ ْ ْ
َ ورف ْعناَلك َِذكركَى انقضَظ ْهرك َ َال ِ َذَ ووض ْعناَع ْنك َِوزركَال ْمَنشر ْحَلكَص ْدرك
ْ ْ ْ ْ
ب َ ْ فَ َِاذاَفرغتَفانص ِا َّنَمعَالع ْس ِرَي ْس ًراَفَ َِا َّنَمعَالع ْس ِرَي ْس ًرا
َ ْ وَ ِا ٰلىَرِِّبكَفا ْرغب
1. Have we not expanded your breast for you? 2. And we have taken off from you your burden.
3. Which had weighed down your back. 4. And we have exalted for you your remembrance.
5. So verily with every hardship there is ease. 6. Again surely with every hardship there is ease.
7. So when you are free (after prayer and your duties of prophethood) resume your striving in workship.
8. And turn only to your Lord exclusively.

ْ ال ْخ َل
Surah Al Ikhlaas ص ُس ْو َرة ا
َّ
َ َول ْمَيك ْن ََلهََكف ًوااحد َول ْمَي ْول ْ َد ل ْمَي ِل ْ َدَََالصمد
َّ َاَهللََق ْلَهوَهللاَاحد
1. Say you (o my apostle) He is ALLAH ﷻ, the one. 2. ALLAH ﷻthe Independent (but) on whom all depend.
3. He begot none nor was He begotten. 4. Nor is there anyone equal to Him.
َّ ياَشاف ْيَا ْنت
َالش ِاف َْى ْياَباق ْىَا ْنت َْالباق َى
ِ ِ ِ
ْياَكاف ْىَا ْنت َْالكاف َى
[O ALLAH ﷻThe Healer, YOU are the Healer!] [O ALLAH ﷻThe Everlasting, YOU are the Everlasting!]
ِ ِ
[O ALLAH ﷻthe All-Sufficient, YOU are the All-Sufficient!]
َهللا َِا ْسم ْعَقالناب ْ ياَرس ْولَهللاَا ْنظ ْرَحالناََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََياَحب
ي
ِ ِ ِ
O Beloved of ALLAH ﷻPlease Listen to our Plea.
ْ
O Prophet ﷺof ALLAH ﷻKindly look at Our State.
ْ ْ
َِ ِا َّن ِن ْى َِف ْىَب ْح ِرَه ِ َِّمَمَغرقَََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََخَ َذي ِد ْىَس ِِّه ْلَلن
اَاشكالنا
Please Hold my Hands and Ease my Difficulties. Without Doubt I am drowned in Sea of Anxiety and Sorrow.
ْ ٰ ْ ْ
َاالل ِهَخذ َِبي ِد ْىََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََم ِاَلع ْج ِز ْى َِسواكَم ْستن ِد ْى
ِ َياَح ِبيب
ْ ٰ
There is none who can help me in my helplessness, but YOU O The Beloved of ALLAH ﷻ, hold my Hand (Assist Me)
َِ االَْب َر
َارَسَ َِِّه ْل َ ٍ فَسَ َِِّه َْلَيَاَ َِال ِ َه َْىَكَ ََّلَصَ َْع
َ َبَََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََََ َِبحَ َْرمَ ِ َةسَ َِِّي ِ َد
O my ALLAH ﷻ, Make Easy All My Difficulties, with the Barakah of the Master of Pious Ones, Make it Easy.
ْ
َ ْ َقَياَعَمَ َْرَياَعَ َثم
َ ْ َانَياَحَ َْيدَ َْرََََََََََََََََََدَفَ ْ َعَشَ َْرك
َنَخَ َْيرَا َو َْرَياَشَ َِِّب َْيرََياَشَ ََّب َْر َ ْ اَص ِِّ َد َْي
َِ ي
O SIDDIQUE, O UMAR, O USMAAN, O HAIDER (Radi-Allahu Anhum) (with the power of ALLAH )ﷻPlease repulse the evil and
bestow the blessings, O Hussain, O Hassan.
ْ ّٰ ِّ ً ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ ْ
َّلِلَاَ َلد ْد
َ ِ ِ َج َيلَ َِن َيَشَ َي َأ
َ ِ َاد َر َْ َتَسَ َلطاَ ْ َنَشَ َْيخَسَ َِِّي ْ َدَش
َ ِ َاهََََََََََََََََََعَ َبدََ َالق َ ض َر
َ َياَح
The Master of all the Saints, Shaikh Sayyid Shah Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him) Please For the sake of
ALLAH ﷻhelp us (with the Blessed Power of ALLAH )ﷻ.
ْ
ثَاَ َْعظَ َْمَس ِِّیدا َ ْ َاجَتَ ْ َوَحَاج
َ ِ تَ َروَاََََََََََََََََََََََََََاَ َلدَ َْدَياَغَ َْو َْ َمَاَهَمَهَم
َ ْ َحت
Truly we are in need! (By the Blessed Power of ALLAH )ﷻYou are the fulfiller of all the needs, O the Greatest Helper O our
ََ Leader Please help us!
ْ ْ
ْ ْ ْ َ ِ َمش ِكل ِتَ بےَعد ْدَدارْیمَماَََََََََََََََََََََََََََََاَ َلدَ َدَياَغَ َو
َََثَاَ َعظَ َمَ َِپي َِرمَا ْ ْ
Our problems are numerous O Greatest Helper, O Our Spiritual Master Please help us (by the Blessed Power of ALLAH )ﷻ.

ْالخَ َير
َ اَب ْ
َِ َش َِك َلَكَش
َ َالد َينَم َ ْ ض َر
َ ِ ََتَشَ َْيخَمَ ِ َحي َْ َياَح
O our Honorable Master! The Reviver of Religion! The reliever of all the difficulties! (By the Power of ALLAH )ﷻPlease bless us
Glory and Benefits.
ْ
ستَ َِگ َْير
َ ْ َثَاَ َْعظَ َْمَد
َ ِ نَياَغَ َْو َْ َنََََََدَ َْر ِ َد َْينﯘدَ َنيَاَش
َ ْ َادك َْ نَاَ َْزَبَ َْن ِ َدَغَ َْمَآ َز
َ ْ َادَك َْ َنَ َِا َْمد
َ ْ َادَك َْ ََِا َْمد
َ ْ َادَك
Help us! Help us! Please free us from the difficulties we are trapped in, Grant us happiness in our Deen and Duniyah. Please help
us, The Greatest Helper!
ْ ْ
َهللاَتعال ٰى َ ْ ض َر
َِ َتَغَ َْوثَاَ َِغ َثن
َ ِ َاَب َِا َذ ِ َن َْ َياَح
ِّ ً ْ
O Our Helper! Please help us by the Blessed Permission of ALLAH ﷻ.
ْ ّٰ ْ ْ
ْى ْ ْ
َ َّلِلَاَ َنتََنَ َورََا
َ حمَ ِ َد َ ْ ج َْي َل ْ َنَخَ َذيَ ِ َد
َ ِ ِ َىََََََََََََََََََََََََشَ َي َأ َ ِ َاه َ ْ خَ َذَيَ ِ َد
َِ َيَياَش
Hold my Hand, O Master of Jilan hold my hand. Help us with the permission of ALLAH ﷻfor you are the light of the beloved
Prophet ﷺ.
ْ
َ ْ َشم
نَہوےَ َزَْیر َ َستَ َِگ َْيرَد
َ ْ َتَد َْ َطَفَ َْی ِ َلَح
َ ِ ض َر
Through the Great Master of all the Saints, May the enemy be defeated.
درودَغوثيه قصيدهَغوثيهَشريف ٰ سور
َةَيسينَشريف
ESAALE SAWAAB FOR ALL MARHUMEEN
ََق ِص ْي َده َغ ْو ِثيه
Shaikh ‘Abd al-Qadir (may Allah ﷻbe well pleased with him) said: “Countless benefits accompany
this ode [qasida], called The Wine Ode [al-Khamriyya], and its recitation.” It is for the purpose of
attracting the Eternal Emanations by means of the Gilani presence, and each verse is famous for a
special property, which makes it unique and able to stand by itself. It reads as follows:
َْف ُق ْل ُت ال َخ ْم َرات ْى َن ْحو ْى َت َعالى صا ال ْىَ قان ْى ْال ُح ُّب َك ْا َسات ْالو
س ا
َ َ
ا ا ا ا
َْفه ْم ُت ب ُس ْك َرات ْى َب ْي َن ْاْلَ َوالى ُ ُ َ ْ َ ْ
so I said to my wine: “Come here towards me!” Love gave me the goblets of union to drink,
ا ا ا َس َعت َو َمشت الن ْح او ْى اف ْى كؤ ْوس
so I experienced ecstasy in my drunkenness among the Masters.
َُْ ُ ُ ُّ ُ َ َ ْ َ ُ ْ ُ َ
It came running and walking toward me in tumblers,
اب َحا ال ْى َو ْادخل ْوا انت ْم ار َجا ال ْى اب ْل ْوا فقلت السآ ائ ارالقط ا
ْالق ْوم ب ْال َواف ْى َم َللى
at my tavern, and enter, for you are my men!”
َ َ َ َْو ُه ُّم ْوا َوا ْش َرُب ْوا َا ْن ُت ْم ُج ُن ْو ادي
I said to all the Cardinal Poles: “Assemble
ا ا ا ا فس ااقى
َ َو َل ن ْل ُت ْم ُع ُل ِّو ْى َو ِّات ْ َْ ُ ْ ُْ َ
Experience ecstasy, and drink, you are my soldiers!
ضل ات ْى ام ْن َب ْع اد ُسك ار ْي
so the cupbearer of the [Lord’s] people was quick to bring me sufficient supply.
ص اال ْى ا ا ا ش اربتم ف
َ َم َقام ْى َف ْو َق ُك ْم َما َز َْم َق ُام ُك ُم ْال ُع ٰلى َج ْم ًعا َّو ٰلكن
but you did not reach my exaltation and my state of connection. You drank what I had left over after I got drunk,
ْال َعالى ا ا
ا
َ َ ْ ُ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ِّ َ ُ
my station is above you, higher still.
ْالت ْقرْيب َو ْح ادى َّ َ ْ َ
High is your station, each and all, and yet
ََ
يص ارف انى وحس ابى ذوالجلل ا ا انا افى حضر اة
ْالر َجال ُا ْع اط َى ام َثالى ِّ َف َم ْن َذا فى ْ َ ْ ََ
In the presence of nearness I am on my own;
َ ُ
the Master of Majesty disposes of me, and He is enough for me!
ا ا ا ا انا ال َب ااز ُّى اش َه ُب ك ا ِّل ش ْيخ
and who among men has received the same as I?
َ َ ْ َ ْ ْ َ َّ َ َ َْك َسان ْى خ ْل َع ًة بط َراز َعزم
I am the grey falcon of every Shaikh.
وتوج انى اب اتيج اان الكمال ا ا ا ا ا
َ
and crowned me with perfection’s crowns.
َ َ َ َّ َ َ َْ َ
He clad me in a robe in honor’s style,
َوقلد ان ْى َوا ْعطا ان ْى ُسؤ اال ْى َواطل َع ان ْى َع ٰلى اس ِّرق اد ْيم
invested me with rank and gave me all I asked.
َ ِّ ُ ْ ٌ َ ْ ْ ُ َ ًال ْق َطاب َج ْمعا َ ْ ٰ َ ْ َّ َ َ
He made me aware of an ancient secret,
فحك امى نا افذ افى ك ال حال ا وول انى على
َّ ص َار ْال ُك ُّل َغ ْو ًرا فى َ َل ُ َ َْ َ
so my decision is effective in every case. He has appointed me over all the Cardinal Poles,
الز َوال ا َول ْوالق ْيت اس ِّار ْى اف ْى اب َحار
َ ْ َ ْ َ َ ْ َ ْ َّ ُ َ ُ َ َْْ ََ
they would all become a depression in the void. Were I to cast my innermost being into the oceans,
الرمال َ ِّ َ ْ ْ ِّ
ولوالقيت اس ارى افى اجبال ْ
لدكت واختفت بين ا
َْل َخم َد ْت َو ْان َط َف ْت ام ْن اس ِّر َحالى َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْ ُ ِّ ْ َ ْ َق
they would be levelled low and disappear among the sands. Were I to cast my innermost being upon the mountains,
ا ا ا ولوالقيت اس ارى فو نار
َ َ ُ َ ََ َ ْ َ ْ ِّ ُ ْ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ
Were I to cast my innermost being upon a fire,
ام ابق ْد َر اة اْل ْو ٰلى ت َعا ال ْى
it would die out and be extinguished by the secret of my state.
لق ْ َ ق
ولوالقيت اس ارى فو ميت
it would rise up through the power of the Master and walk for me. Were I to cast my innermost being upon a corpse,
َْت ُم ُّر َو َت ْن َق اض ْى اا َّل َا َتالى َ ُ
َو َما ام ْن َها ش ُه ْو ٌر ا ْو ُد ُه ْو ٌر
ا
َْو ُت ْع ال ُم ان ْى َف َا ْق اص ْر َع ْن ج َدالى َْو ُت ْخب ُرن ْى ب َما َي ْأت ْى َو َي ْجرى
pass and go by without my getting news. Neither months nor long ages of time
ا ا ا ا ا ا ا
ْ َ َ َ َ ْ َ ْ َ ْاش َط ْح َو َغ ا ِّنى ْ َ ْ َ ْ ْ ْ ُ
and let me know, when to cease from debate. They inform me of what is to come and to happen,
ال ْس ُم َعال و اافعل ما تشا ف ا م اري ادى اهم و اطب و
َْع َطا ان ْى ر ْف َع ًة ان ْل ُت ْاْلَ َنالى ُ ف َا ْ َ ََ ْ ْ ُ
do what you will, for the name is a high one. My disciple, experience ecstasy, have fun, relax, chant,
ْهلل َرِّبى م اري ادى لتخ
ا ا ا
َ َ ُ َو َش ُآء ْو ْ َّ ُ ْ َ ْ َ َ َّ ْ ْ ْ ُ ُ
has given me eminence; I have attained the heights. My disciple, do not fear! Allah, my Master,
الس َع َاد اة ق ْد َبدا ال ْى َّ س ض دقت طبو الى افى السم اآء والر ا
َ َ ْ َ ْ َْ َ َْ ْ ْ ََ ْ َ َ ْ ُ ب َل
and the sergeant of bliss appeared to me. Drums sounded in heaven and on the earth,
صفا ال ْى ووق اتى قبل قل ابى قد هللا ُمل اك ْى ت ْحت ُحك ام ْى ا د ا
ِّ ْ ُ ٰ َ َ َ ْ َ َ ًَن َظ ْر ُت اا ٰلى ب َلد هللا َج ْمعا
and my time before my transformation has been happy for me. The lands of Allah are my kingdom under my rule,
َ
كخردلة على حك ام ااتصال ا ا ا
ْالس ْع َد ام ْن َّم ْو َلى ْاْلَ َوالى َّ َون ْل ُت ًحتى ص ْر ُت ُق ْطبا ّٰ َد َ ْس ُت ْالع ْل َم
as a mere mustard-seed compared to my connection [with Him]. I looked upon all the cities of Allah together
ا ا ا ا ر
ْ ْ ْ ََ ْ َ َف َم ْن ف ْى َا ْول
and gained felicity from the Master of masters. I studied knowledge till I became a Cardinal Pole,
َّ
ف َحال ا ا
ْ صر
ي ْ والت مومن افى ال اع ا
ل هللا امث ال ْى ا ا ا ا آء ي
And Who from the Awliyaah of Allah is Like Me?
ٰ ُّ َ ْ َ َّ َ ُ ْ َ
And Who has reached my state in Knowledge and Authority?
ْالّللى ٌ ر َجال ْى ف ْى َه َواجره ْم ص َي
ام
و افى ظل ام اللي االى ك ا ا اا ا ا ا ا
َ ْ ْ َ ْ َّ َ َ ٰ َ
And they shine like pearls in the darkness of the night.
َ َْو ُك ُّل َول ِّى َل ُه َق َد ٌم َّو اا اِّنى
My disciples observe continuous fasts,
على قد ام الن ابى بد ارالكمال اا
ُْه َو َج اِّد ْى به ان ْل ُت ْاْلَ َوالى ِّ َ َنب ٌّى
in the footstep of the Prophet, the full moon of perfection. Every saint has a precedent, and I am
ا ا اش امى َم اكى اح َج ااز ْى ا ه ا
َ ْ َْ َ
He is my ancestor, I achieve my objects through him.
ِّ َ ْ َ ََ
Prophet belonging to the family of Hashim and to Mecca and Hijaz,
َع ُز ْو ٌم قا ات ٌل اعند ال اقتال ُم ارْي اد ْى ل تخف َواش ف اا ان ْى
َ ْ َْ ٰ َ ْ َ ْ َ َ
a resolute slayer in the fray.
ِّ َا َنا ْالج ْيل ُّى ُمح ُّى
My disciple, do not fear a traitor, for I am
ْالد ْين اا ْس امى
س ال اجبال واعل امى على رأ ا ا ا ا ا ا
ُُ ٰ َ ْ ََْ َ ْواْل ْخ َد ْع ُم َق اامى َ ْ ُّ َ َ ْ َ َ
and my banners are on the mountain peaks. I am al-Jili, Muhyi’d-din is my name,
َ
الرجال ِّ
و اقد اامى على عن اق ا انا الحس انى
َْ ْ ْ َْ ْ َُْ َ
and my feet are on the necks of men. I am al-Hasani and the inner chamber is my station,
اح ُب ال َع ْي ان الك َمال َ َو َج ِّد ْى
ص قاد اراْلش ُه ْو ُر اا ْس ام ْى
ا ا وعبد ا ال
and my forefather is the very master of perfection. Well am I known by the name of ‘Abd al-Qadir
