DESCRIPTION:
The ‘ETI-A2’ with the two element stack is a general purpose, mechanical
set, retrievable packer that combines features of both permanent and
retrievable packers. The ’A-3’ version has a three piece element [Link]
pack-off force is mechanically locked in allowing the tubing to be left in
tension, compression or neutral while holding pressure from above or below.
APPLICATIONS:
The ‘ETI-A2’, ‘ETI-A3’, and ‘ETI-AL2’ packers are used in single packer
installations for production, injection and remedial operations. They are also
used as the lower packer in multiple string hookups or in single string,
multiple zone, selective isolation completions.
FEATURES:
• Tubing can be left in compression, tension or neutral.
• Holds pressure from above or below.
• Built-in unloader speeds running and releasing.
• Opposed, non-transferring dovetail slips for positive set.
• Right-hand rotation sets and releases packer.
• Equivalent to and parts interchangeable with Baker product numbers
646-12, 646-28, and 646-30.
