1. The apostles gave up everything to follow Jesus. We might see them as heroes. But, the
Bible doesn’t record their heroism. What explanation does MacArthur give? (p. 167) (1pt)

2. There are several men named James in the New Testament (p. 171). There was one
who became a church leader in Jerusalem and wrote an epistle at the end of the New
Testament. What was so interesting about this James? (1pt)

3. MacArthur describes four basic divisions of the Jews. Briefly describe each of them.

4. Read John 6:43-71 Based on what Jesus taught in this passage, many turned away
