Writing activity:
Part-2
• I think learners would be excited for this writing activity, although it’s a paragraph
writing one may not find writing a paragraph interesting but the topics are quite
interesting this activity give them a chance write about their life to reflect upon their
life. For example, for 1 point those who have taken any discission own their own
would be excited to share but for those learners who haven’t done something like
that will not find it interesting. Most of the learners would find the question 2
interesting because now days it become a trend to share about their journey on
social media so I think they will find it interesting to share about it. Third question
will work as awareness for road safety rules learners will be able to critically think
about what to do? And what to not do? While you are travelling through road.
• For making these writing activities more interesting for learners teacher may add a
pre writing activity that will work as a prompt for writing and motivate learners to
write.
1. For question three teacher may teacher may show them some pictures
of the activities those we shouldn’t do while driving. Those will help and
motivate learners to write about it.
2. For question two teacher may ask learners to chose a photograph that
you have clicked while a journey and write a long caption for that photo
giving answer to the question asked.
Part-3
Choose a destination where you want to go. Make a plan of action how you will go there.
After planning everything you decided to share your plan of action with one of your friends.
Write a detailed message to your friend about how you are planning to go and invite
him/her to join you plan while describing how much fun this trip will be.
• Pre-writing task: Ask learners to do a research for the place they want to go.
✓ Do a research about the place.
✓ Find out about the weather.
✓ Find best transportation medium to reach there.
✓ Don’t forget about your budget.
✓ Decide the duration of the trip.
• During writing: Ask learners to use the check list that they have made in pre task
before writing the message so that they will be able to add all the necessary details.
Teacher will give them some hints to describe about the beauty of the place and the
activities they would do there. How this trip will be good for your bond. So, with the
help of the hints learners will write a message to their friend.
• Revision task: Teacher will ask learner to share the message with his/her friend and
ask learner to answer the question asked by learner’s friend. Friend will help to
correct his/her friend grammar if s/he find any mistake in the message.
• Editing task: learners will add the details in their message those asked by his/her
friend and correct the grammar mistake.
• Post writing: Teacher will ask learners to role play. Share their conversation with the
class.
Part-4
This activity will include following 21st century skills
• Pre-writing, During Writing, Revision and post writing activity include 21st century
skills.
• Pre- writing activity includes the critical thinking because learner have to critically
think about the decide and make a number of judgements in this task. This activity
also includes effective planning.
• During writing activity includes creative skill.
• Post writing activity include collaborative skills because learners have to collaborate
to work this activity.
