APPLICATION
The Model S-22™ locator seal assembly is used in single-packer, single-zone, or
dual-zone installations to provide an efficient, leakproof seal between the packer
and the production string. Standard applications include those where the tubing
is landed with weight on the packer and/or where tubing is allowed to float.
Model S-22 Anchor Seal Assembly

APPLICATION
The Model S-22 anchor seal assembly is used in the same applications as
locator seal assemblies but has a latch in addition to the locating shoulder for
connection to the packer. The latch, in conjunction with the left-hand square
threads located on top of the packer body, locks the tubing string into the packer.
When properly landed in the packer, tubing tension will be held by the latch,
preventing seal movement.

APPLICATION
The Model S-22 seal nipple is used in combination with a locator, snap-latch,
or anchor seal assembly to seal in the auxiliary seal bore(s) of a gravel pack
completion or the lower packer(s) of a multiple-packer completion.

APPLICATION
The Model S-22™ snap-latch seal assembly provides a leakproof seal between the
packer and the production string. It is ideally suited for all applications requiring a
snap-in/snap-out indication that the seals are in or out of the packer bore.
The snap-latch seal assembly is most often run on the bottom of an upper gravel pack
assembly in a dual-zone completion. It is latched into the top packer of the lower gravel
pack to guarantee the production seals are properly seated and the upper-zone gravel
pack assembly is in the proper location. The S-22 snap-latch is also used in single-zone
completions to provide an indication that the gravel pack assembly is properly landed in
the sump packer.

APPLICATION
The Model S-22B™ snap-latch seal assembly provides a leak proof seal between the
packer and production string. Similar to the Model S-22, it allows a snap-in/snap-out
indication when the seals are located within the seal bore of the packer.
The difference between the S-22 and the S-22B is that the S-22B has a polished seal
bore to allow isolation from the upper or lower zone. It is latched into the lower gravel
pack packer to guarantee the seals are properly seated and the upper gravel pack
assembly is properly located.
