TET-2014 Counselling Notification

NOTIFICATION FOR COUNSELLING FOR APPOINTMENT OF NON-EARMARKED


CATEGORY CANDIDATES
In continuation of our notification under memo no. 332/BPE/2021 dtd. 16.02.2021 this is to notify all concerned
that counselling and appointment will be conducted for the TET-2014 qualified and Trained candidates,
empanelled for Burdwan district, immediately on receipt of the approved panels for Hindi medium and Urdu
medium as per following schedule :

The empanelled candidates of Bengali medium will attend the counselling on receipt of SMS/E-mail in due
course.

Apart from the above, it is also to notify that a state level counselling will be held for the merit listed candidates
who could not be empanelled in their own districts because of non-availability of vacancies according to their
mediums and categories in terms of their merit.

Again, it is notified that all the candidates of Purba Bardhaman and Paschim Bardhaman have been merit listed
according to their TET-2014 Roll Numbers. The first 2 (two) digits of such Roll Numbers are the district codes
as they were at the time of holding TET-2014.

The aforementioned districts – Purba Bardhaman and Paschim Bardhaman were then undivided. The Board has
empanelled all the eligible candidates in accordance with the codes of the undivided districts.

Now, the Department of School Education has forwarded the vacancy statements of such districts separately.
Therefore, it is decided that both the authorities of the District Primary School Councils of Purba Bardhaman and
Paschim Bardhaman will hold jointly the counselling of all the candidates empanelled for those three undivided
districts to allocate the candidates for appointment in their respective home districts in order of merit. However,
if any candidate remains un-absorbed will be allocated for appointment in either of the two districts (after
division) as per available vacancies (medium and category wise).

It is also to be noted that all empanelled candidates will have to carry their Aadhaar Cards / Voter ID Cards
issued by the competent Govt. authorities.

All candidates remaining ‘Withheld’ shall be cleared as per rules by the Board.
