exclusively through male ancestors which is patriline and for female which is matriline.
8. PATRILINEAL DESCENT – A genetic conditions that spreads in a patrilineal way
might be passed from your grandfather, through your father and to (his son) you.
9. MATRILINEAL DESCENT – It refers to familial relationships that can be traced through
a female.
10. POLYGYNY – It refers when a man is married to more than one wife at a time.

1. Compadrazgo is a form of ritual kinship established through the rites of the Catholic
Church especially at baptism. It is also known as compadre, the relationship between
the parents and grandparents of a child is baptized. It is also defined as the reciprocal
relationship or the social institution of such relationship existing between a godparents
and the godchild and its parents.
2. Political dynasty is also referred as political family in which several members of the
family are involved in politics and businesses. Its member are blood or marriage
related and also often several generations or multiple siblings may be involved.
