Lyft is a transportation-as-a-service on-demand marketplace that allows riders to quickly find a driver and get from
one place to another. However, Lyft has also expanded with a multimodal platform that provides more options like
Auto, Bike, Sharing cab, and Auto.

Lyft provides online as well as offline transaction facility. It charges commission for each ride. It charges high prices
according to demand and supply. It provides cab facility for intercity as well as intra-city. It uses algos for price
discrimination. It uses first degree price discrimination.

• Lyft offers free rides on specific occasions and users can also avail discounts from time to time on their rides.

• Lyft’s tagline says – Your friend with a car. It makes users more comfortable with Lyft rides.
