and HIV Advocacy) Year 3

I. PROJECT SUMMARY:

Project RAPSAH is an awareness campaign program of the Guidance Services


Office, SSG and SHS Department to raise awareness on the danger of drug abuse and
HIV, mental health, Anti-Bullying Campaign, Early Teenage Pregnancy, HIV awareness,
Mental health campaign and Retention rate of SHS Students through a Virtual webinar. It
will benefited more than 2000 grade 12 students since the inception of the program.

Hence, as the country witnessed an outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, DepEd


stressed that education must continue whatever the danger and changes the country is
facing. To uphold the right of every student to quality education at all times though basic
education learning continuity plan (BE-LCP) was developed to provide guidance to the
department on how to deliver education on how to deliver education in this time of crisis
while ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all learners, teachers and personnel of
DepEd There is insufficient awareness campaign program on the danger of premarital sex,
teenage pregnancy and HIV. Thus, PROJECT RAPSAH (Raising Awareness on
Premarital Sex and HIV Advocacy was initiated to assists our learners to raise
awareness on the danger of drug abuse and HIV, mental health, Anti-Bullying Campaign,
Early Teenage Pregnancy, HIV awareness, Mental health campaign and Retention rate of
SHS Students though this initiative.

II. PROJECT BACKGROUND:

Project RAPSAH is an awareness campaign program of the Guidance Services


Office, SSG and SHS Department to raise awareness on the danger of drug abuse and
HIV, mental health, Anti-Bullying Campaign, Early Teenage Pregnancy, HIV awareness,
Mental health campaign and Retention rate of SHS Students through a Virtual webinar. It
will benefited more than 2000 grade 12 students since the inception of the program.

A brainchild project of Dr. Sharon A. Villaverde, a Master Teacher II and a grade 12


adviser, “PROJECT RAPSAH (Raising Awareness on Premarital Sex and HIV
Advocacy” The project helped raise awareness of SHS learners on the danger of drug
abuse and HIV, mental health, Anti-Bullying Campaign, Early Teenage Pregnancy and
HIV awareness; it also helped improve the retention rate of SHS Students in the
Department of education through the Lopez National Comprehensive High School
through access to Quality. A year after the inception of the program and it’s success, the
guidance services adopted and utilized the program as one of its flagship initiative project
for every SHS learners.

Thus, to address the gap, the proponent strategized and came up with PROJECT
PROJECT RAPSAH (Raising Awareness on Premarital Sex and HIV Advocacy will
serve as the teacher’s basis as to where the teacher he/she will provide additional
assistance by giving awareness training to every SHS learner during this time of
pandemic.

More so, at the end of every semester. The teacher will also get students’ feedback
of the benefits and impact of the program for improvement of the learning services.

Training Proposal – A training proposal will be draft to ensure the program of


action will be delivered during the school year about the program initiated.

III. PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

This program will provide learners with opportunities:


 To raise awareness on the danger of premarital sex, teenage pregnancy
and HIV
 Give opportunities to other learners to be included and have access to
education via Project RAPSAH ((Raising Awareness on Premarital Sex
and HIV Advocacy)
