Students will be shown a Pictochart slide that shows the flags of different countries. Students will talk about
the specific features of these countries’ flags that are shown on the screen. (PIKTOCHART) After this
Piktochart, the teacher will ask each student the specific flag that is shown on the screen. And they should
give the right answer to the question ‘Whose flag is this?’ Students will take a test at the end of the lesson
that is about choosing the right flag of the country.(Kahoot) There will be 14 questions for 14 students. Each
student is supposed to answer one question. They will tell their answers to the teacher, and the teacher will
mark the answer.
Individual Learning Activities Each student needs to answer the right answer to a
specific question while taking Kahoot test.
Group Learning Activities
Summary
Students will learn various countries and also form different sentences about their flags using present simple
tense.
Measurement & Evaluation
With Kahoot test, the teacher will be able to figure out how successful the students are while distinguishing
different flags of the different countries. At the end of Kahoot, both students and the teacher will be able to
see the result. According to it, they will be able to revise the topic.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Students are supposed to mark the correct option for the
Individual Performance questions that will be shown on the screen via Kahoot.

Explanation
As the students can understand the further lessons, they need to learn the contents of this lesson very well.
So, if there is a student who cannot give the correct answer, the teacher can help him/her improve the
content knowledge.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
In this week, some countries will be introduced to the students. The learning process will be enriched with
various slides, poster and speaking activities such as brainstorming and discussions.
After they get acquainted with the countries, the teacher will perform a question-answer activity. They need
to give the right answer to the question ‘Whose flag is this?’
At the end of the lesson, they will take a Kahoot quiz.
Back-up plan: If there is a technical problem, the teacher will use charts each of which shows the specific
country’s flag. The teacher will pick a student and show a chart. Then, the student is supposed to tell the
country which owns that flag on the chart.
