Metastatic Epithelioid Sarcoma Report

A biopsy was taken from a 33-year-old male patient's left hilar mass. Microscopic examination found metastatic epithelioid sarcoma. Immunohistochemistry testing found the tumor cells were positive for AE1/AE3 and negative for TTF1, CD34, CD31, and CA125. INI-1 was also lost in the tumor cells. The final impression was that the biopsy showed metastatic epithelioid sarcoma in the hilum of the left lung.
