Understanding Nicodemus in John 3

Nicodemus was a Pharisee who came to Jesus at night seeking answers. Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born again of water and spirit to see the kingdom of God. Though Nicodemus struggled to understand at first, he learned from Jesus that God so loved the world that he gave his only Son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. The document examines Nicodemus's encounter with Jesus in order to illustrate that people of faith can still struggle with doubts yet learn eternal truths through Christ.
