INTRODUCTION
Andall and Associate is one of the most powerful and prevalent groceries stores present today.
However, in the past few years the fluctuation, of turnover rates and general profitability of the
business due to this had been in question. Hence, our reason for selecting this topic in the past
,Andall and Associate has been a reputable business establishment who could boast of
dominance and supremacy in relevance to the profitability and productivity of its business.
Previously, the general public admired the business institution, however there has been a
noticeable decline in the business general turnover and profitability. Consequently, our team
hope to further indulges into this topic to answer burning question as to the reason for this
decline and ways the business may solve this problem. To us students as previously mentioned in
the past, Andall and Associate was an extremely reputable business that most of us grew up with.
As a result, we long to see it return to its dominance in its field in all areas imaginable.
From a societal point of view this problem is most definitely a major issue. Because of how
prevalent this institution is and how wide their customers range, them having their labour
turnover affect their profitability and productivity will affects the business, current and future
intended employees. With how well known this business is, them having a negative connotation
affiliated with how their labour turnover affects both their profitability and productivity will only
damage the institution’s image. when person’s outside the business notice and suspects matter
such as these it can in turn facilitate their decision into applying into this business. If there is a
high turnover rate in the business, persons would therefore question things about the organization
itself including how they view employee retention and the previous employees' reasons for no
longer being a part of that specific organization.
OBJECTS
1) To investigate the predominant reason for the current turnover rate at Andall and Associate.
2) To determine whether the current turnover rate is profitable to the business than previous
years.
3)To find out how labour turnover negatively affects the profitability and productivity at Andall
and Associate.
BACKGROUND / OVERVIEW
Andall and Associate is a partnership company because it owned by two to twenty individuals.
The business allows for multiple employees to be recruited on a regular basis. The establishment
has various outlets spread across Grenada. Recently one of the business’s main outlets would
have closed down which would have raised the eyes of fellow Grenadians. Many questions were
asked and so my team and I would have decided to take a look into the company’s labour turn
over to better understand how the business operates. We would have explored possible solutions
to increase labour productivity and effective running of the business.
METHODOLOGY
Our data collection instrument will be questionnaire.
A questionnaire is a set of printed or written question with a choice of answer, devised for the
purposed of a survey or statistical data.

It is easy to analyze
It is less intrusive than to ask people face to face.

such as their names.
It required less time to be completed.
How the questionnaire was conducted:
Several questions with different choices were constructed and later distributed to the manager,
staff of Andall and Associate and ten customers of the business two weeks later we returned and
collected the questionnaires and analyze the responses from the various persons.
Our limitations were:
Some of the questions on the questionnaire were left unanswered and couldn’t be used
since the questionnaire was incomplete. Time and money were wasted and we had to
redo the questionnaire to gain all the information needed.

Conclusion
In conclusion the Labour turnover affect the profitability and productivity at Andall and
Associate whereas in conclusion the Labour turnover would have affect employee’s productivity
negatively with a high rate at employment. Productivity tends to decrease with high turnover in
workplace. Low salary is also another factor face at the supermarket where workers are under
paid for the job they produce within the day. Employee look for compensation and promotion
and that is a lack of promotion at Andall giving worker the opportunity to look for work
elsewhere.
It is stated that employee lack of communication, support and company culture between
managers.
I think Andall and Associate should continue this method so they can increase in profit and be
more supportive to employees. It will decrease the level of labour turnover.
The factor affecting labour turn over at Andall and associates are external factors such as better
opportunities, competition for job placement and globalization leaving employees no choice as to
how they are treated unfairly.
RECOMMENDATION
In order to lower the effects of labour turnover at your organization we will like to recommend
that;
1)Employees ideas, concerns and opinions should be listened to by management team.
2) Better working hours and working facility should be implanted.
3) Yearly salary raises and employee appraised should give to deserving employees
