raw material that is the feature of the product, Taro plant.
BRIEF PROFILE OF THE ENTREPRENEUR
The business is proposed by the grade twelve students of Mount Carmel
School of Infanta- Senior High School Department namely Dawn Dela Costa, Joanna
Ritual, Jade Banderada and Jorge Avellaneda that will make the very first Taro flavored
pastillas with coated chocolate and powder. They came up with this kind of product
because it will be a new flavored taro pastillas on the market. It will attract customers by
its organic flavor and they will adopt this consciousness of what is the taste of the
product. The product is also affordable to the costumer because of its low price but
quality.

Today and in previous years, food is the source of living and important part of
people daily life. People cannot live without proper intake of food. As time passes by,
not only how people live changes but also the food they eat, the innovation of food
takes place. There are lot food that is been popular nowadays, the flavored pastillas that
can be organic and fruit flavored. Fresh fruit pastillasthat are “in”and popular today.
There are pastillas made in ube, langka, cassava, corn flavor, cheese, the plain milk
flavor and many more that are in our in food industry.
Each member collide the ideas of making the Taro Pastillas that is first and newly
flavored pastillas in the market. This pastillas is not only delicious but it is affordable and
clean. It will satisfy the customers because of its tasty flavor. This is an organic pastillas,
so customer will benefit in here and will not cause threat in their health. This pastillasis
made in Taro or Gabi, a tropical plant with large green leaves. Its root is starchy and
high in fiber and is most often compared to a sweet potato or yam with pleasantly purple
insides. The business will help a specific location to be well known because of the
unique foods can be found there, especially here in Infanta who have large number
having a Taro farm.

be hard to start also there are many well known competitors but ours differ because it is
made up of Taro plant which is organic.
The objectives of the business are (1) to provides satisfaction to the customer;
(2) to be a number one supplier of Taro Pastillas in Reina; (3) to convince customers
and be a destination spot for people goer; (4) be successful despite of many
competitors; (5) to expand the number of customers and have high sales.
The business, Taro Pastillas is located at 20 de Julio St. Poblacion
38Infanta,Quezon. It is the previous way leading to the old hospital. It is open and
along the way so it is easy to find to give a tasty and delicious food to the customer’s.
The business will be hiring skilled person who have a strong initiative. Also an
honest and friendly one that is approachableand kind hearted who will share their skills
in making this product. We are going to give equal payments and give them chance to
share their knowledge and strategies in earning money. In return to our customers, they
will not regret and will meet satisfaction buying the business product. As for ours, the
income we are expecting to receive were from the customers, the development of our
product and also the skilled workers. In financial profit, we expect of high and normal
than low.

Any product can be express as something that can be offered in market, small
store and can be by selling house to house or in any other way for use to anything that
will satisfy the wants, desire, needs or expectation. The “taro pastillas” product will
surely be the next favorite sweets of many Filipinos. It differs from other because firstly
it is made up of Taro that is healthy and organic, secondly it will not threat your health
and lastly the customer will benefit here. The product will lasts up to 2 to 3 months
based on weather.
The “:Taro Pastillas” name is what we decided up to be the name of our product
because the pastillas we are going to create came from taro plant which is the main
ingredient. The taro will be boiled until it become soft then will be smashed and mixed
with milk and sugar, then the last is coating of chocolate or powder. The business
partners found this name unique and new to the customer’s ear so it will get their
attention.

Brief Description of the Project
Taro Pastillas is for serving the customers wants regarding pastillas by providing
a newly, tasty and delicious flavored pastillas. The serving is for both men and women
at any age, child or adult, it is available to all and also accept huge amount order or per
pack. The product that will be serving is healthy and organic at an affordable and cheap
price. It will satisfy the customers for being not so sweet pastillas but soft, balance and
milky taste. They will meet friendly and approachable workers that will be serving you in
a proper and respectful way. The business will be minding their own business and ideas
without harming other competitors. It will use taro flavor that is new concept of pastillas
in Infanta.
A. Innovativeness
The concept of Taro Pastillas is not new in today's market. Many business have
established different types of strategy, hence, not all of them leads the market.
The concept of "innovativeness" plays an important role to achieve the
competitive advantage of come business to another.
Unlike other pastillas business' concept, they usually used the milk flavor and
most of the flavors they are using are not that healthy to our body. While taro pastillas is
healthy to our body because it is organic, that is composed of natural ingredients than
other pastillas that can cause diabetes because of its over sweetness. The business
introduces the first taro flavored of pastillas here in our country. Taro Root is known for
