COURSE DESCRIPTION Understanding the Self aims to develop appreciation among students; knowing the importance beneath their personalities. The course where it can be a
platform for the students express themselves freely. This course will give an emphasis on student’s self-identity with based on a scientific explanation.
Understanding the Self is a fundamental course offered in the General Education Curriculum for tertiary education program. It is designed to help the students
outgrow themselves. It focuses in working on oneself, overcoming weaknesses, recognizing strengths, acquire self-esteem and establish self-identity.

Classroom Policy
Teacher’s classroom policy with regards to attendance, participation, behavior, use of mobile phones, etc.
HOUSE RULES
ACADEMIC
1. Grades are computed as follows
a. Class Standing 70 percent (class participation, recitation, quizzes, unit test, projects, reports, reaction paper, oral examination and other related academic activities.
b. Mid term and Final Examination 30 percent (written ppt or output base exam)
2. Midterm exam and Final examination should be taken on the assigned date, however, if unavoidable circumstances arise a student are given 5 day to take the examination, failure to do so means a grade of
5.0 will be given.
3. All requirements such as project, written report, and other paper works should be submitted on time as schedule, failure to submit on time is will not be accepted, submission date can be change due to
unavoidable circumstances arise such as act of God.
4. Written report is expected to be submitted one day before the reporting day. (hardcopy should be compiled in folder (paper folder) with cover page, soft copy should be email at
[email protected]
5. If incase a group member unable to do his/her task in oral presentation an assigned leader should take charge, if incase non of the members unable to do the instructor will take charge and a grade of 5.0
will be given to a member without oral presentation.
6. Assigned group leader should monitor class room management observed and guard his/her groupmate, excessive remainders and failure to manage will result to a point deduction to all group members.
7. All quizzes to be made are announce including surprise quiz. In a very rare time bonus quiz can be given.
8. Absent and late policy refer to student hand book.
9. Cheating is prohibited.
