Abstract
Web scraping is the process of extracting data from websites. Some data that is
available on the web is presented in a format that makes it easier to collect and
use it.
There are a variety of ways to scrape a website to extract information for reuse.
In its simplest form, this can be achieved by copying and pasting snippets from
a web page, but this can be unpractical if there is a large amount of data to be
extracted, or if it spread over a large number of pages.
Instead, specialized tools and techniques can be used to automate this process,
by defining what sites to visit, what information to look for, and whether data
extraction should stop once the end of a page has been reached, or whether
to follow hyperlinks and repeat the process recursively.
Automating web scraping also allows to define whether the process should be
run at regular intervals and capture changes in the data.

Objective

• We plan to provide you the latest information on any device, software or


hardware with one click.
• Also, when we plan to buy any tech-tool we need to check the
availability and pricing. We plan to make this process easier and simpler
for the consumer.
• We plan to create a section for user reviews for the product that you plan
to buy.
• We also plan to compare multiple retailers and their pricing for the same
product for making the consumer experience more enjoyable.

Literature Review
There are many projects on web scraping before us. Like price monitoring or
advising buying options. We have done our share of online research and we
plan to bring something new to the table.

Software: IntelliJ IDE, Sublime Text, Visual Studio, Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator
Hardware: CPU – Ryzen 5 3600, GPU – Nvidia 1660s, Ram – 8 GB, PSU – 500W,
Storage – 240 GB SSD

Conclusion

We live in the age of fast developing technology. All the hardware and software
that we use are constantly upgrading. Therefore, we need to find the latest
information regarding any tech tools as soon as possible to keep up with this
fast-forwarding world. We plan to provide such service.
