Cross Flow

This document contains data from an experiment measuring the temperature of a copper rod over time as it cools via free convection. The rod's diameter, length, specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity, and density are provided. Tables of temperature data collected at regular time intervals are presented, along with the calculated Fourier number (Fo) and natural logarithm of the reduced temperature for each time step. Graphs are shown of the logarithm of reduced temperature versus the Fourier number for free convection from the top and bottom of the rod.
