REL 100

The REL 100 model supports:

- 5 trip zone for the phase loops and 5 for the ground loops (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z3R, Z4)
- instantaneous high set overcurrent protection
- the power system supervision overload
- earth fault protection (directional and non directional )

Unsupported features:

- zone5
- single phase trip
- weak end infeed trip
- broken conductor
- loss of voltage
- power swing
- synchrocheck and dead line check function

Data input notes:

- In the model the timers are duplicated for the phase and the ground trip zone blocks.

NOTE:

Model created using the 1MDB006308-YN brochure


The Kn ranges are not available; used the ABB REL 150 ranges
The starting element is modelled as an overcurrent element with independent thresholds for phase and
ground.
