JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT OF Plaintiff Joyce Dumlao
This Judicial Affidavit of Joyce Dumlao, who is the owner of the personal
properties alleged to have been stolen, is executed to serve as her direct testimony in
the instant case;
This Judicial Affidavit is being offered to prove the following:
A.) All the allegations in the complaint;
B.) All other related matters, facts and circumstances relevant and material to this
case.
This Judicial Affidavit was taken in the office of Atty Jemabel Sidayen at 4
Matatag Street Diliman, Quezon City
Questions were propounded by Atty. Jemabel Sidayen. The questions are numbered
consecutively and each question is followed by the answer of the plaintiff.
1. Do you swear to tell the truth and nothing but the whole truth?

I am Joyce Dumlao, 24 years old and I reside in B123 L45 Maligaya Street Quezon
City.
4. Where were you at 1:00pm last July 22, 2020?
I was in Puregold Cubao shopping for groceries.
5. Have you met Ms. Gladys Orlino?
Yes.
6. Where did you meet her?
Outside of Puregold Cubao
7. How did you meet her?
She offered to help me with my groceries while I was waiting for a taxi.
8. I am showing you this picture which is attached to the complaint as Annex 1. Do you
know this picture?
Yes.
9. What is this picture showing?
It shows me holding my bag and the words “my new bag” that is preceded by a
hashtag.
10. Do you own the bag in this picture?
Yes.
11. I am showing you this document which is attached in the complaint as Annex 2. Do
you know this document?
Yes.
12. What is this document?
It is a bank receipt from Banco De Oro Cubao acknowledging that I have withdrawn
Php. 30,000 from my bank account.
13. Do you own the money stated in this bank receipt?
Yes.
14. When did Banco De Oro issue this bank receipt in your favor?
It was issued to me last July 22, 2020.
15. Are the items shown in this picture and stated in this bank receipt respectively, in
your possession right now?
No.
16. How come they are not in your possession despite owning them?
They are not in my possession because they were taken from me.
17. Who took them from you?
Ms. Gladys Orlino.
18. Did she take them with your consent?
No.
19. When did she take them?
She last them last July 22, 2020
20. How did she take them?
She took them from me by leaving with them along with my other groceries without
my consent after offering to help me with my groceries.
Plaintiff does not say anything further.
