Stray Dog Issues in Barangay: Health Risks

There are many stray dogs in the local community that have not been vaccinated against rabies. This poses a public health risk, as the dogs could transmit rabies if they bite someone. It also creates a nuisance, as the dogs roam the streets and could cause accidents. The issue affects about 25% of the population, who are afraid to go out at night without street lights. The problem is moderately changeable if community programs are implemented to reduce the stray dog population or ensure they are vaccinated. Proper vaccination of dogs could help prevent rabies transmission and accidents. The community recognizes it as a problem but it is not the highest priority currently.
