Dreaming of The Red String

The author describes a recurring dream place called "The Red String" that does not exist in reality. In the dream, the author enters another dimension where the laws of physics do not apply. The Red String is a large, celestial building with a door made of gold and rubies that appears to be stained with blood. Inside, the floors are covered with strange vibrating "strings" of different colors. The author explores the building and finds furniture that glitters like embers and fruits on a golden basket, defying normal logic. The Red String is a confusing but magnificent place that the author continues to dream about.

Describe a place you have dreamed about that doesn’t exist in real life. (Remember that you
are describing the place and not telling/writing a story about it.)

The Red String

The places that people usually see in their dreams are happy and boring; however, my
dreams are different. I am a man of Physics. Naturally, I dream of things related to
Physics. One such reoccurring dream I had was something called The Red String. I do not
know where or what The Red String is. All I know is that it is a place that I have dreamt of
more than once.

In my dreams, I enter another dimension, a place where time and the laws of physics have no
power. The Red String is the only place in that dimension. Crafted with gold and rubies that
seem as if they have been tainted with blood, the door to The Red String in itself is truly a
sight to behold! The exterior is celestial; it is almost as if God himself designed The Red
String. There are hundreds of red coloured hearts crusted in the gold that envelops The Red
String.

When I went inside The Red String, I saw strings all over the place! It was madness! As I
went deeper, I realised that the so-called strings were not actually strings because they were
vibrating and moving about. I can describe what they looked like to me: the strings were of
chartreuse colour, with a unique tint of red mixed with purple. They were in a continuous
motion as if they were waves of light.

Being the curious person I was, I decided to venture the place. The Red String was not just a
room; it was a building that seemed like it was bending towards the left. I went to the top
floor in search of any human life. Unsurprisingly, there was no sign of human life. However,
the top floor was just as magnificent as the bottom floor! I found that there were less
“strings” and I could see the furniture. I found furniture that glittered like ember, as if they
were forged in the fire of the sun.

The top floor, to my surprise, had fruits on a golden basket, which was on top of a table made
of lapis lazuli. The Almira was not made of wood. Instead, it was made of the same material
as a mirror. All in all, it was an extremely confusing place for myself. Then again, what is life
without a bit of madness?
