OVERVIEW:

Pursuant to DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2019- 158 Dated September 20, 2019, Barangay Officials are
expected to deliver their State of the Barangay Address (SOBA).
Today,s Barangay Assembly has for its theme -
“Barangay Muna, Maki-isang Barangay , Ka agapay ng Bansang Maunlad!

MINUTES OF THE BARANGAY ASSEMBLY FOR THE 2nd SEMESTER FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2019 HELD ON OCTOBER
27, 2019 AT THE BARANGAY TAUG, LILA, BOHOL AT 1:00 O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON.

PROCEEDINGS:

THE PUNONG BARANGAY CALLED THE ASSEMBLY TO ORDER.

Everybody was requested to stand for the Opening Prayer lead by Kag. Gloria Bodiongan followed by the
Singing of Hymns thru audio record

The Assembly formally started at 1:35 in the afternoon. The words of Welcome was given by the Punong
Barangay, Hon. Candido J. Tagab.

PB Candido J. Tagab welcomed and acknowledged the presence of Hon. Melchor G. Lapac, LGU representative
a District Kagawad Chair on Peace and Order, the Sk, Barangay Base Workers, Senior Citizen, and to all the residents
of Barangay Taug.

He explained the purpose of the Barangay assembly and enjoined everyone to listen attentively to the
Barangay Council’s report on Barangay previous, on-going, accomplishments and future projects. The Barangay
treasurer and appropriation Committee chairman will also render the report.

Before PB Candido J. Tagab rendered his report he requested Hon. Melchor G. Lapac to read the Message
from he DILG.

Accomplishment in the 1st semester of 2019

a) Acquire worth P200,00.00 proceed to water works from the Municipal funds
b) Barangay roads
c) Barangay Health Station worth P2M to be turn-over this early November, 2019

Treasurer’s Report:

Summary Income & disbursement in the of Jan. & Feb. 2019

September Total Income = P35, 137.90

Total Disburstment = P 132,768.66

Summary Income & Expenditures Last Disco, 2019

Total Income Gross P37, 080.00
Expenses = P 30, 170.00 Net Income = P 6, 910.00

BARANGAY ISSUES AND CONCERNS:

Kag. Tagupa, chair on Peace & Order reported so far sa iyang pag ronda sa atong barangay inubanan sa iyang mga
tanod peaceful ang atong barangay. He also added nga ang sound and light iya usab tagaan ug pagtagad. Also
sponsored Barangay Ordinance regarding the Traffic management code in the jurisdiction now in the 1 st reading from
the sangguniang bayan.

Kag. Virgilio Gamad chair on DRR reported that the body will soon acquire the calamity fund kay ang probinsya gi
declarer ug state of calamity, he also added nga kulang pa ug equipment ang barangay hopelly next year maka comply
na for preparedness.

Kag. Modesto Gamad chair on Infrastructure reported regarding the water works supply in the barangay iyang
gipaabot sa mga constituents nga nag operate siya sa motor pump every sat. & Sunday. He added also regarding the
rehabilation of Tubig gamay and lastly streetlight concerned nagremind usab siya nga pwedi siya ang doolon in case
of naa maaberiya.

Kag. Luzminda L. Quim chair on ways & means reported nga nakaremit na siya sa atong brgy. treas. Sa mga water and
garbage fees, aduna gihapon ai wala pa naka settle sa ilang bayronon. Added also regarding the update from the Sr.
Citizen sa umaabot tha Sr. Citizen Day.

Kag. Gloria P. Bodiongan chair on Health & Sanitation reported and remind the constituents regarding HH evaluation
and strict segregation of waste to avoid penalty.

Kag. Janet Dalapo reported regarding the PCIC insurance she also added nga adunay free hybrid rice nga gi distribute
sa tanang farmers. Vitamins sa mga kahayupan wihin 3 months. Lastly dog vaccination as of now lack of stock, nag
remind usab sa mga katawhan sa ilang mga iro nga panghiktan ug taga-an ug maayung pag-alima ang mga iro ilabina
karung ting-init.

Epekto sa Ilegal nga Droga sa Katilingban
B. PAGLIKAY SA ILIGAL NGA DROGA SA PAMILYA, SKWELAHAN UG KATILINGBAN:

Ang mga programa sa kontra iligal nga droga mamahimong mas epektibo kung duguyan sa tibuok
pamilya, sa skwelahan ug sa tibuok kumunidad.
Sa panimalay:
Magasukod ang pag-likay sa iligal nga droga sa pamilya. Kung anaa ang kanunayng pagminahalay
sa pamilya ug saktong pg-giya sa mga ginikanan sa ilang mga anak, malikayan ang problema sa
iligal nga droga.

Sa skwelahan:
Gihangyo ang mga skwelahan nga mutabang sa pagpa-ubos sa demand sa iligal nga droga. Ang
mga skwelahan dako ug matabang sa pag-impluwensya sa mga kinaiya (behavior) ug pagtudlo sa
mga dautang epekto sa iligal nga droga sa mga kabatan-onan

C. PAPEL SA KATILINGBAN SA PAGLIKAY SA ILIGAL NGA DROGA:

Ang kuminidad o mga sosyal nga organisayon dunay dakong papel sa paglikay sa iligal nga droga ug
sa rehabilitasyon sa mga biktima niini. Gikinahanglan adunay pirmanente nga pagahimoong “drug
awareness” sa mga daotang epekto sa iligal nga droga, kenahanglan usab masayran kung kinsa ang
mga myembo sa kumunidad ang kenahanglan ug “drug rehabilitation”. Ug importante ang “tukma sa
panahon” (timely) nga pagtaho/pagreport sa atong mga katawhan sa presensya sa manggamitay
(users), ug mga nagabaligya (pushers) ug mga suyupanan sa atong barangay sa BADAC ug ka mga
kapulisan.
Ang pagsuporta sa Community-based Rehabilitation Program- Without Walls (CBRP-WOW)
gikinahanglan sa mga drug surrenderers. Atong tabangan ang atong mga igsoon nga mahibalik sa
atong kumunidad.
Ang pagbatuk sa iligal nga droga dili lamang trabaho sa mga kapulisan, trabaho kini sa tanan.
Adunay dakong papel ang tanang myembro sa katilingban sa pag-mintinar sa usa aka kumunidad
nga luwas sa illegal nga droga, dunay seguridad ug kalinaw.
Hon. Melchor G. Lapac reported and acknowledge the efforts of the barangay specially sa mga bala
udnon nga na panday sa barangay Ordinances, also informed that Mayor Piollo II give his 100 dys in
the Celebration of 5th Lila Grand Reunion held at Bohol tropics Resort one of the proposed project
was the Boulevard in our jurisdiction Sen. Villar and Sen. Imee Marcos acquire 60 M in the said
projectthe mini ambulance to be fairly distributed in the 18 th barangay and also informed the
Tauganons regarding the OIC pnp personnel in the municipality sir Toring.

OTHER MATTERS

Obstruction material – The newly install roof of Taug Chapel. Mrs Delma Lapac informed the constituents that
we have to pass a signatory way of pleasing the ayor nga taga-an ug exmption ang atong chapel. Secondly ang old
roof ul-an ni Mr. Edwin Namoc since naa nay sin gi distribute sa per purok.
