Thus it can be seen that all planets
promise that there are many to contribute
and see that the Institute grows up and
expands like anything.

sub periods of Saturn, there will be
expenses outweighing income. No doubt
there will be receipt more than normal:

Moon in Saturn sign. Lagna in Saturn
sign, Sun star. Sun was in its own star:
Saturn was in the sign of lord of 11 and
star of lord of 7. Jupiter was in Venus
star in sign of lord of 7. Venus owns only
lagna and not 6: So also. Mars owns
only 7th and not 12th.
[There is no Mars Dosba in this chart
because it is in a movable sign, it is debilitated
: conjoined with Mercury. Yet
look at the fate. Thus taking the position

by nature Mercury denotes plurality." i.e.,
another Court is also approached. According
to Krishnamurti Padhdhati, planets
deposited in the constellation of Mercury,
or occupying Mercury sign, Gemini or
conjoined with or aspccted by Mercury
will give, provided its sub-lord is connected
with dual sign or Mercury sign or star.
Mats in its Anthra gives courage;
makes one take further steps: fight and
so on.
Hence during Mats Anthra appeal is
made.
What will be tile result ?
Note the sub-lord of the Dasanatha. If
it denotes once for all separation, then,
according to the various Bbukties in that
Dasa, there will be alternative results
good and bad, depending on the sub-lord
in which the lord of the Bhukti is deposited.
If Bbukties are ruled by A, B
and C and they are deposited in beneficial
subs (lord of the sub contributing to the"
benefit of the native's desire) then, in the
Dasa of a planet which is the significatqr
of both advantageous and disadvantageous
houses, then during the Bhukties of A, B
and C, the results will be favourable. If
the sub-lords of the position occupied by
the Bhukti lords D, E, F are unfavourable,
during their Bhukties, one has to expect
untoward and undesirable results.
If a particular house is unoccupied and
the constellations of the owner of the
bouse is also unoccupied, then those
planets deposited in the sub of that planet,
will offer the results.
If a particular result is indicated by
a planet, tben those which are deposited
in its constellations are connected with the
matters signified by that Bhava-
Here, Saturn is in Venus star. Venus is
in 2. Hence Saturn is connected with the
members of the family. It does not mean
only increase of the members by marriage
or birth of children. But it must also
show the decrease. Increase and decrease
depend on the Bbukties and Antbras in
Saturn Dasa. In the same Dasa, one can
get married. He may get separated or
either of them may pass away. Hence
Dasanatha has to offer both results as be
will be the significator of both..
Some may get married, in a Bhukti and
in the same Bhukti one may get divorced.
Here, both Dasanatha and Bbuktinadha
will be the significators of marriage and
also divorce. Some may get married in
the same Dasa, Bhukti and Anthra and live
separately from the same Anthra; then,
all these three planets are the significators
of marriage and also divorce. Marriage
comes because of the lord of the constellation.
Separation comes due to the sub
occupied by the planet.
One may get married in A Dasa. B is for
divorce. ' B' Bhukti can operate during
'A* Dasa. Separation will not come.
It will end in misunderstanding as the
Dasa lord is the most powerful commander.
No Bhukti lord can offer a result if
Dasa lord does not permit. If Dasa lord
is not a significator of the result which
Bhukti lord is to give, Dasa lord, the final
authority will not give the ultimate result.
Planets form a Cabinet. The Prime
Minister is the Dasanatha. The Bhukti
oadhas.are Cabinet Ministers. The Anthra
nadhas are the Dy. Ministers ]
Therefore Note the 3 planets which will
rule conjointly and these must be connected
with 6 and 12 houses.
Jupiter, lord of 12 is in 12; Mercury is
deposited in Jupiter star. Hence Mercury,
Jupiter in 12 are for separation. Saturn,
represents llih and 12th.
Sun is in Saturn star, sub of Jupiter.
Hence Sun must bring about separation-
Rahu has to represent Mercury as it is
in Mercury's sign. Rahu in Moon constellation
and Vends sub, according to its
stellar position, brings union. But, it has
the portfolio of Mercury also : ,hence, it
will cause separation. Moon in Rahu star

in Mercury sign will bring about separation.
The sub-lord Mars has no connection
with 2 or 7 or 11 : nor with 6 or 12.
Hence, Mars is unconnected. In that
case, the Bhuktinadha gives the results
during Jupiter sub period in Moori Bhukti,
The order will be issued on 1-2-69. The
divorce will stand.
As per transit,
(a) Sun, will be in Saturn sign. Moon
star and conjoin M.C., i.e., 10th
cusp.
(b) Moon will be in Saturn star Moon
sign.
(c) Time of judgment Moon star Saturn
sub i.e., Lagna on that day will be
at 16� Taurus.
(d) According to Western System
prediction lord of 7 Mars (Nirayana)
squares its original position and
opposes both lupiter and Saturn.

great grandparents, grandparents, parents,
brothers, sisters, wife, children, grand
children, great grandchildren etc. Hence
the second house which is judged
for finance and family, indicates all the
members ; but 3rd house denotes younger
brothers, sisters, father-in-law; 4th house
mother: 5th children, grandfather; 6th
maternal uncle: 7th wife; 9th father
grandchildren: 11th son-in-law daughterin-
law, elder brothers, sisters etc.
Either financial worry or difficulty in
the family is found out mainly ^from the
second and eighth bouses. Rabu is the
occupant of the 2nd house: Jupiter is the
owner.
Significators of the second house are
judged as follows ;
(a) Planets situated in the Constellation
of the occupant of second house.
(b) The occupant of second house.
(cj Planets deposited in the constellation
of the owner of the second house.
(d) Ruler of the second house.
(e) Planets conjoined with any of the
significators or aspected by any of the
significators or aspected by the planet
conjoined with any of the significators.
(a) A significator may be in its own
sign and star. It itself may be the occupant.
It can happen only in 2 cases;
Suppose in the very beginning of Pisces is
the 7th cusp; also Jupiter is deposited
within 3� 20'. This area is called Poorvapadra
governed by Jupiter; Jupiter is
there itself. Hence Jupiter is the occupant:
is the owner and is deposited in its own
star. Similarly Sun in Uthrapalguni first
quarter is 26� 40' Leo to 30� Leo.
(b) A significator may be 'in its own
star. It can happen to each planet and in
each star.
(c) If a planet is in its own star and
it is a significator, then other planets in
the other two stars in the same sign
should be taken as those which are in
conjunction with the significator. If they
are in the same star of the significator,
question of conjinction does not arise, as
the other planets will become a significator
due to the constellation.
(d) Suppose Jupiter and Moon are in
Taurus; Jupiter is in Karthik, the 3rd
star governed by Sun. Moon is in Rohini.
Moon is lord of the sign where 7th cusp
falls. No planet is tenanted in 7. Hence
Moon is lord of 7. Its star is Rohini and
it alone is in Rohini. So Moon is the
significator of 7th house (for marriage or
Maraka). Jupiter is in Taurus. If it is in
Karthik or Mrigasira, Jupiter is in conjunction
with Moon. If Jupiter is in Rohini,
it becomes a significator as lord of Rohini
is the owner of the 7th house.
(e) If there is a planet in Capricorn,
Moon and Jupiter are in Taurus and Moon
is the significator, Jupiter gains connections
by conjunction, then, planets in
Capricorn will be aspected (not by The
significator Moon but) by Jupiter, even
then planet in Capricorn is connected with
the matters signified by these' houses.]

Thus one is to judge intelligently following
the same principle as propounded
by Krishnamurti.
Second house is occupied by Rahu.
Arudbra, Swatbi and Satbabisba are ruled
by Rahu�Venus' alone is in Rahu star
Satbabisba.
Second house is owned by Jupiter. Jt
is in Ketbu constellation.
Eighth house is occupied by Ketbu and
Saturn.
Ketbu governs Aswini, Maka and Moola.
Jupiter is in Ketbu star, Saturn sub. Hence
Jupiter will give 8thhouse results. (Planets
in movable signs give the results quickly :
in fixed signs offer late.)
Saturn rules Pushya, Anuradha, Uthrapadra.
No planet is posited therein.
Hence strong significators are (1) Venus
in Rahu star; Jupiter sub. (2) Jupiter in
Kethu star, Saturn sub. (3) Rahu, Kethu,
Saturn occupants.
Owners; Jupiter is lord of 2; Mercury
is lord of 8. Kethu and Saturn are
in Jupiter star Punarvasu : Mars and Sun
are in Poorvapadra. Moon alone is in
Mercury star: These are also significators.
They are connected with houses 2 and 8.
If we judge conjunction, aspect, etc., all
planets are connected with the 2nd and 8th
bhava.
Any planet connected with second house
can increase the number of the members
of the family if the lord of the sub is
favourable or if it is the significator of
11 th house whereas any planet connected
with second house will reduce the number
of the members df the family if it is in the
sub of an evil planet (significator of 8 or
12). [Never judge from the name of the
planet: It is very important to note the
lord of the sub in which a planet is
posited.]
Therefore classify which will give happy
and harmonious family life; which will
bring enmity, but yet continue to live:
which will bring separation or bereavement.
Normally separation is taken as
living separately due to disagreement.
Separation, astrologically means both, i.e.
to get separated under pleasant circumstances
or due to difference of opinion. So an
astrologer should invariably note whether a
planet is deposited in the sub of the significator
of 8 and 12 or beneficial 2 and 11-
In this instance Venus and Jupiter are
the strongest significators. Jupiter is in
the star and sub of occupants of 8; Venus
is in Rahu star Jupiter sub.
Hence separation from family cameup
as soon as Venus Dasa Jupiter Bhukti
started. (Note Jupiter in a movable sign
gives result quickly.)
Separation came on 25-10^1934. Day-
Thursday-ruler Jupiter: Moon ttansitted
in Taurus owned by Venus: Star Robini,
governor Moon. (Moon was lin the constellation
of lord of 8 and sub of Saturn in
8.) Sun was in Sukra sign, Rahu star,

out on bail. One has to leave his residence;
live in the surroundings of
politicians and also other criminals. It
brings about separation from family.
During Venus Dasa, Jupiter Bhukti,
Mars Anthra for 4 hours on 14-11-36 he
was arrested due to certain crime.
On 15-1-1958 he was arrested on political
grounds. For 32 days he was inside the
prison.
Permanent residence is shown by fourth
house. 12th to the 4th shows one leaving
one's permanent residence. Hence include
the significators of 3rd Bhava for leaving
v-one's house. Restriction and life ir.- new
surroundings are to be judged from 12th
house. Second and Eighth bouses when
afflicted take away the person from his
kith and kin.

Therefore according to me houses 2, 3,
8 and 12 are to be considered.
According to Hindus, whatever may be
the reason for one's arrest, one is expected
to be kept in prison if
(a) all malehcs are in 2, 3, 9 and 12
(b) for Scorpio-borns malefics are in
2, 12, 5 and 9
(c) if lords of 1 and 6 are conjoined
with Saturn in a Kona or Kendra.
But according to Krishnamurti, malefic^
occupying the constellation of the planets
situated in the houses 2 and 12
occupants of these houses in the constellation
of the lords of the above houses,
malefics in the star of the owners of these
houses and lords of these houses indicate
imprisonment. One courts imprisonment,
if lord of 1 is also connected with the
significators. Jupiter, Venus or lord of 9
and J conneqted with the significator
denotes imprisonment on political
grounds. Thus how to judge the cause is
well explained in Krishnamurti Padhdhati
second volume page 335. Judge houses

Rahu Anthra was operating he was
arrested Moon in the constellation of lord
of 8 and sub of planet in 8 : Kethu in 8 in
Jupiter star (lord of 2) Mercury sub (lord
of 8). Rahu is in Venus (lord of 12) star,
sub Mercury, lord of 8. Thus it can be
seen that Moon, Kethu and Rahu are the
strongest significators to give jail life.

is lord of 9 Bagya adhipathi). It is in its
own sign. Guru in 10 to Moon. Gajakesari
yoga�what Moon has done in its
dasa is to be understood�whether Gajakesari
or Raja's savoury inside the jail)

There are professions where practical
experience is necessary as in the case of
doctors, engineers, etc., and in others
where intensive training is necessary as
in the case of dancing, music, painting.
In the case of the former, the head line
(representing the attitude of mind) starts
from its original position either from, or
a little apart from, the life line and goes
straight to the other end crossing the
palm, while in others where imagination
is more important, the same line does not
go straight but winds its way downwards
to what is called the Mount of Moon,
either leaving a branch going towards the
little finger as in the case of merchants
and towards the third finger as in the case
of artists, actors or lawyers and no branch
at all as in the case of philosophers or

Noel Jaquin says that his whole aim
and object in writing this book is to prove,
or rather to enable the reader to prove
for himself, that the human band betrays
both intimate psychological processes and
also the presence of disease in active or
semi-active states. There is evidence of
a parallel physiological defect existing as
the consequence of a psychological defect,
or being complementary to it in the
physiological sphere.
Body and mind, mind and body, interact
so closely that it is at times only with the
greatest difficulty that we are able to
determine in which exists the basic and
fundamental provocative defect. It is
impossible by any of the more orthodox
methods to come to any really definite
and accurate conclusions on such origins.
Unless a patient has been infected with
specific bacteria, treatment is restricted to
the elimination of synuitoms rather than
the correction of basic causes. The hand
gives a perfect picture of the whole, with
its relative strengths and interactions. It
gives themuch needed ' individual' picture.
Discoveries made during the last few years
in both psychology and curative medicine
have stressed the vital importance of this
'individual' assessment of bodily and
mental balance.
He explains that the hand is a jig-saw
puzzle, you take bits and spread them out,
you note their size and shape, and then
you begin the all-important task of fitting
them together within the circumference of
that individual potentiality. The result
should be a perfect picture of the individual,
a picture that should show the most
intimate physiological and psychological
detail. For instance, on page 56, he exhibits
in the hand of a young woman,
happily married and living in a very nice
house, that her lack of energy and lack of
interest in life was due to her marital
incompatibility. Markings on her hand
indicated that she could live happily on a
mental-spiritual plane; artistic surroundings,
artistic concepts and idealistic dreams
were the things which interested her but
her husband, though charming, was unfortunately
very materialistic and a matterof-
fact person. This resulted in repressed
anxiety, producing nervous dyspepsia.
The writer has produced 76 imprints of
original hand and has analysed them to
discover various kinds of complexities
between physiological and psychological
trends which have led to diseases of
inflammation, infection of pathogenic
bacteria, nervous apprehension, heart
diseases, gonorrhoea, cystitis, states of
cancerous developments which were, in
most cases, difficult of diagnosis by a
medical practitioner in early stages of the
infection and thus made capable of cure
by psychological treatment and dietary
control. The book will prove to be of
very great value to psychiatrists who have
to deal with cases of difficult cure and
presenting problems not easily analysed
by medical practitioners. It contains a
fund of knowledge relating to diseases that
can be discovered from the hand itself.
It enables the readers to discover the
controlling forces of a man's destiny,
character, health and sex life from the
indications given on the palm.
The value of the book is enhanced by
the fact that the writer has chosen his
seventy-six subjects out of the comjnon
men and women whom we meet every day
in offices, roads, buses, trains, shopping
centres and perhaps in our own homes!
