IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) is a standard to allow a user to interface
with a computer system to monitor the health of and manage the system.
The SMCIPMITool is a Supermicro utility that allows a user to interface with SuperBlade
systems and IPMI devices via a CLI (Command Line Interface).
1.2.1 JLine
SMCIPMITool uses JLine for command history and tab-completion. JLine is a Java library
used to handle console input and is similar in functionality to BSD editline and GNU readline.
People familiar with the readline/editline capabilities for modern shells (such as bash and
tcsh) will find most of the command editing features of JLine to be familiar.
