FlowSolve™ 212LN

Asphaltene Dispersant
FlowSolve 212LN is a medium molecular weight poly olefin ester formulated in a high flash point aromatic
solvent. FlowSolve 212LN has been developed to mitigate asphaltene flocculation and deposition in oil
production operations e.g. in the reservoir, production wells and processing units, due to pressure drop or
incompatible fluids and other applications including anti-foulants, demulsifier synergists, and fuel oil
stabilisation.

Benefits
Benefits
Industry proven - well recognised with over 10 years of high performance within the oilfield industry
Broad spectrum performance across a wide range of crude oil types
Ideal physical properties - low viscosity, low pour point and high temperature stability (>300˚C)
Global regulatory compliance - specific reference to OSPAR and CEFAS (gold with no substitutions)

Low environmental impact for marine operations e.g. North Sea, Gulf of Mexico
Low tendency to create foams or emulsions
High compatibility with oil soluble materials allowing for blending with wax inhibitors and corrosion
inhibitors

Additional details
Typical treat rates range from 10 to 500 ppm dependant on the crude oil type and the severity of asphaltene
deposition tendency. Laboratory testing should be conducted for individual oils to establish an optimum
treatment regime.

Shelf life is two years under recommended storage conditions. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, preferably
a covered warehouse facility. Ensure drum and bulk container seals remain intact until ready for use.
